64. Their Strong Bond

In a parking lot of a former factory building, several people gathered. Motorbikes of various types were neatly lined up in that large asphalt-covered yard. They seemed to be chatting casually that afternoon, some smoking their cigarettes.

Only Rio was a little away. He stood still, staring at the sky that had started to turn orange. Every now and then he grabbed his chest, where his fast-beating heart resided.

"Have you contacted her, Rio?" Rio's friend, the man with the arm full of tattoos, approached the young man. "Usually Kara wouldn't be late this long. We've finished training and she hasn't come yet."

Rio turned to the man, slightly shrugging his shoulders. "I didn't contact her on purpose. Even when she chats with me on phone, I reply to her just a little. Well, I did it so she was curious and wondered what was going on. I think that will make it more fun. But, I still told Amelia to always keep in touch with her."
