THE GOLD STONE THAT STRUCK HIS EYE.

"She stared at you for sometime before smiling and walking on. And then...then you picked a big stone and threw it to the back of her head."

Silence.

There was silence after Saraphine said this and she tried to gauge the mans expression to see if she could know what he was thinking or how he felt at the moment. But she couldnt. Nicholas expression didnt change and he didnt look surprised as well. She had to admit he was doing well to hide his surprise if he was.

"And....?" He questioned again wanting to knoww if it ended there or there was still more to the story.

"Saraphine takes a deep breath in before continuing. If he wasnt surprised that he might have in the past thrown a big stone at her, then he was about to be surprised. "The big stone that you threw to the back of her head made her bleed. A lot." She emphasized.

This time Nicholas takes a deep breath in. "Did I look remorseful?"
