The Book

"W-Why are you here?" came my obvious question for the boy. He looked just as how I remembered his clothes were, with the only difference was that he looked a bit older. Why was he here? What is with this weird development of circumstances?

"The same reason that you are here, Elizabeth Ainsworth," he replied, his smile still etched on his pretty face. "I have wandered quite far to look for places I could hide for a while, and lo and behold, we had met again. How interesting, don't you think so too?"

"Can't say what is interesting or weird anymore," I replied. "Just tell me what you are here for. I'm so tired of guessing your intentions. Juno keeps popping here and there, an ancient witch does the same."

I sighed heavily. These people of ancient magic are giving me a lot of headaches. Just as Juno had said, they are as fickle as can be. And maybe perhaps it is just inherent in them to be annoying too.
