Chapter 37 Mr Aahil's pov

Mr Aahil.

To heal a wound, you need to stop touching it.

Strength grows in the moment you think you cant go on, but you keep  going anyway.

One of the strongest woman I have ever met in my life is my wife.

She has gone through so much yet she hides her pain behind those smiles just like some others who are suffering silently.

Shy and silent lovers are mostly taken advantage or that's just my thinking?

She has been taken advantage of even by my own mom, I just don't know what went wrong with mom, I talked with dad and despite him and mom having differences he assisted me and we included police, though dad will give mom hard time, he won't give in easily no matter how much he loves her.

So dad asked me to stay back and support my wife since he wasn't talking to his wife, he decided to work and give his wife taste of some bitter medicines, and I chuckled but he just looked lost. I felt pity for him but I knew he would come around, they would as this is their test, our test from Allah.

I smiled as I gazed at the person who was sleeping comfortably on our bed, she just changed everything in us, in our lives, and I knew she has been supportive with my sister Hania also, how selfless can one be?

I removed the hijab which she had wrapped at the side of her neck, she sleeps with her hijab despite me being her husband it's just out of habit, I smiled and placed it on the table next to our bed without making any noise.

I stared at her arm as there were still some bruises. That man won't escape I will make sure he pays for it.

No one touches her, harms her and escapes just no one.

I called dad and we discussed further plans.

"Sleep you need rest," I laid her back as she tried to sit up again but she just shook her head and tried sitting again, stubborn wife.

"I have slept enough," she thinned and I gave in, I put a pillow on the headboard so she could sit comfortably, I could feel her eyes on me.

I stared at her and we locked eyes, I noticed she stared at the clock ahead and her eyes widened.

Now what?

"It's 9 am and you didn't wake me up," she complained and I just smiled.

"I enjoyed seeing you sleep so comfortably after ages, didn't have it in me to wake you up," I said honestly and her eyes widened, she opened and shut her mouth, no words coming out of it and I smirked as I moved closer and sat next to her.

I took the packet of medicines and glass of water, I urged her to open her mouth and fed her.

"Someone is over caring and romantic today, don't you have work?" She asked with a raised brow and I grabbed her right hand and entwined our fingers.

"You know I can feed myself my right hand is completely fine," she said and looked away I felt tear slipped from her eyes and I wiped it and turned her face towards me.

" I fed you because it's my responsibility to take care of you, and you are perfect in every sense don't let peoples words affect you, even if you are imperfect so what? even those gossiping aren't perfect."I gave her some motivational words I knew she felt low and down sometimes.

"I have work but I will work from home only when we must t have much work all meetings were successful and dad is handling the other one's," I explained to her deals of our business leaving out past events and plans to catch culprit I knew she had questions and I was glad she didn't ask.

"How's mom?" She questioned and I just stared at her with all love and emotions I could. Even after everything she still cared and asked about mom and my parents.

"She's fine and before you could ask me more, dad is fine so stop stressing out," I informed her and kissed her on the forehead.

She kept her gaze on me as I performed my duty, maybe I caught her off-guard. More surprises for you my dear wife. Just wait and watch.

Well, my priority is my family and my wife.

"You make me feel things I didn't believe and no matter how wrong I had done, no matter how much I tried to rectify my mistakes I still can't forget how much I hurt my parents, and when I tried to amend things they were snatched away from me," she sobbed as she narrated again, I knew she tried to move on but it was still haunting her deeply.

"I barely prayed since I entered your house," she cried and I let her, she needed to let it out instead of keeping it inside.

"Ask Allah for forgiveness, you barely prayed or recited Qur'an but you can start praying, it's never too late to start again, better late than never, I also made a lot of mistakes, my parents were never proud of my ways, I hurt you but now look at me, you changed me, Allah sent you, I tried and now I thank Allah I have changed and every day I try to become better with you by my side," I  cupped her face and kissed the tears which kept flowing.

"Will you lead the prayer and pray with me? she asked as she calmed down and I nodded.

"Of course I can, together we can be stronger and face any battle," I tried to put some sense into her so she doesn't have anything again.

"Don't ever take such steps again without informing me, I don't want to put your life at risk, I don't want to lose you," I said and I knew my voice cracked at the end, this side of mine only she knows. Only her.

"I don't want to lose you also," she said in low voice but I heard and my eyes widened she just admitted it.

"Can you repeat what you confessed?" I asked with a smirk and plan in my mind.

Let's see what she will do.

How was it? want some more of them?
