69. The Lava River

"Help me Ron!" cried Victoria.

Majer looked back, but then she swam forward. Loma and his army were almost on the mainland. Baron turned and swam toward Victoria.

He saw a mountain towering and looking firm. He approached the hill to serve as a foothold. Victoria's body was getting lower and lower.

"Don't move, Vic. I said don't move!"

Victoria complied. She stopped moving as she hugged herself. Baron hoped that Victoria is alright. She was panting, and then she looked like she was about to cry.

Baron arrived at the mountain quickly. He held the hot stone in his hand.

"Ron, it's so hot in here!" Then Victoria screamed. "My jacket is on fire! Aaarrrgghhh!!"

Victoria struggled again, and her body almost sank into the river of lava. Sweat dripped down Baron's forehead and neck. He had to move fast.

Baron stomped his foot onto the mountain and then pressed down with all his might. He slides fast.
