Elena tried to ignore the hot werewolf but all her efforts were proving futile. He keeps talking to her using the necklace and his voice was doing wonders to her. The next tradition was to dance with her lady royals and be then she would have to mingle with everyone. She got up and her ladies followed right behind her and the orchestra played a different song for them.

It was different from the ones that were played since the party started. It was a fast song and the princess took off her shoes and got to the dance floor, her lady royals followed suit and got their shoes off. They danced around in a circle in the room. The whole room and everyone watched the princess move to the song. She looked so beautiful and the young men wished that she would look at them and take a fancy to them. While the older vampires wished that their children would impress the princess and become the next ruler of Atria.

The Atrians cheered as the princess danced her heart to the song, she just wanted to express every emotion that she has been feeling since the night began and get it out of her system. She was enjoying herself and danced so passionately. The girls were dancing to impress possible suitors but all the men at the party had their eyes on the princess who was untold beauty. She was so beautiful that they could not put in words how much they could rate her beauty. Elena jumped twenty feet off the ground and the room went silent. The other ladies stopped dancing and watched her.

She jumped up but never came back down, she continued dancing in the air while many different colors danced around her. The people of Atria had never seen anything like it before and all stood up and watched in awe as she danced. The queen of Enchansia knew that the princess was practicing magic at the moment. She was so frightened when she saw a vampire princess practicing expression which is a type of air magic that was rare and hard to practice. That even she who was known to be powerful could not master. She trembled in her seat as she watched how powerful the princess's magic was that it sends a shiver down her spine. She had a change of heart and decided that it was better if she stopped trying to get rid of vampires for now.

If she did go against the future queen her people would not survive the attack. The princess continued to dance oblivious to the mess that she was creating. The queen watched her daughter dance and made no move to stop her or interrupt her. She read the mind of the queen of Enchansia and saw how she retreated in her plans to attack Atria in the future and smiled. She planned to take a very long nap after Elena's coronation and now she can rest easy knowing that one enemy is out of her daughter's path. Now she only needed to worry about the shapeshifters and if the king bothered to come then even he would have been just as scared.

It wasn't abnormal for a vampire to practice magic and the greater a vampire's magic the stronger they are and now everyone knows not to underestimate her, she also didn't expose her identity by the dance so she was fine with it. The werewolf was amazed at what he saw. Most people didn't understand what they were looking at but he knew perfectly what was happening. The black blood princess was awakening her magic which meant that her passage rite has been performed. And judging by how powerful her magic as she was not ordinary black blood. He trembled slightly at this discovery but composed himself just as quickly.

It was not right for him to be afraid of his future wife so he got his composure back. He hated the look that the other men were giving to his vampire. He felt like gauging their eyes out for even staring at her, she was his, and nothing they do will change that and he was more than ready to eliminate competition to get what he wants. He wanted to be with and be the only one that she thinks about after all that was he without his mate. He didn't realize it at first but when she could smell his wolf scent in his human form and also find it enchanting enough to chase after him, he knew.

To everyone else including his family, he smells like any normal but only he knew what his scent smelled like. It wasn't easy to get his smell and that is why even his dad can't track him down when he runs away. So he wasn't going to let the princess go. The song ended and the princess came down, somehow she felt refreshed and happy and she also understood what just happened. She ran over to her grandmother in happiness and embraced her.

Icyn had used her magic to clean her and made her fresh again and with a flick of her hand, she did the same for the lady royals. She couldn't have them all sweaty at the party they will have to find suitors at the party. She congratulated her daughter and wished her the best of luck in life.

"Okay, that is enough. Now go talk and get to know the fools off your land and pick an idiot to marry," she said in a boring manner.

"They are not idiots they are nobles," replied Elena in a lovesick manner, and they both laughed. "Who am I kidding they are all idiots," she said seriously.

"I know but bear with them, they don't always mean bad," Icyn advised and went to drinking her unfinished cup of blood.

Elena walked up to the group of ladies in the room. "Hello, I am Elena," she said sweetly and they introduced themselves to her. They started talking to her complimenting her on everything, she lost interest and tuned out. She was so bored at just talking with them for ten minutes. She excused herself nicely and moved to the next group and did the same. She repeated the process with all other groups until there was only one group left. She walked to them and greeted them and they replied.

"Hi, I am Ricardo Russo and it is nice to be acquainted with you," he said sweetly. His voice was nice in her ears but not as much as that werewolf's voice. She just then realized that she had no idea what the werewolf was called. She talked with Ricardo who only talked about politics. Not even a single compliment to her and upset her but she still smiled. She came to learn a lot about the court from him and how things worked around the powerhouses. She made a note to include him in her council to help her in political matters. She spoke with him longer than others and exchanged ideas on different matters.

Everyone who watched the conversation was convinced that he was the princess's choice. Her grandmother was happy that she had found someone she liked and she can marry. She started planning the wedding in her mind and wanted only the best for her grandchild. Lola was happy for her friend and was already celebrating in her heart. Due to the attitude of the princess, she was sure that she was not going to find a man tonight. Her grandmother had taught her to look at all men like idiots and fools so she was worried about her friend ending up alone.

Immortals live a very long life and that life can be very lonely without someone by your side. She smiled wholeheartedly to see the two talk like old friends. If only she knew that Elena was thinking of getting her married to Ricardo then she wouldn't be so happy. Elena spoke to Ricardo and enjoyed the conversation as she does when she is talking to Lola. She was so happy to find a man capable of actually holding a proper conversation with her. She still thought he was an idiot just a bearable idiot.

She made a vow to unite Ricardo and Lola as soon as possible. Her two friends deserved to be happy and are going to be the bridge that will bring them close to each other and finally get them married. She left Ricardo and went back to her seat to continue with the ceremony.

"That was wonderful and now we proceed to the next ceremony. You need to gaze at the blood moon and be blessed by it," said her grandmother who was happy that she was enjoying her birthday. She went out of her way to give a gift, she took out her red jade necklace and tied it around her neck.

"Now I can always hear from anywhere in the world. I love you my darling," she said. Elena loved her gift so much that her eyes turned luminous green. Everyone felt their pulse pick up as their blood was boiling in their veins. She felt so warm after receiving her gift that she unknowingly started boiling everyone's blood.

"Relax my darling, you are getting out of control. Control your emotions before you do something that you will kill everyone in here," Icyn warned as she hugged Elena so no one can see her eyes. Elena calmed down and relaxed.
