New interest (part four)

"When did I choose you and when did I fall in love you?" Elena questioned when they made it to the spring.

"Wait, that didn't happen?" Arian asked feigning ignorance.

"You are asking me? You are the one who just said that, how should I know?"Elena asked. She sat down next to the water and kept her hand in the warm water. The water felt nice to her fingers.

" Who was that man anyway?" Arian asked curiously.

"My lover," Elena replied him indifferently. She didn't think much of it when she replied, it was true that one could define their relationship as that of two lovers.

Arian's eyes widen with shock hearing her reply. "Why did you let me say all those to him then?" he asked confused as why she would allow him to say such things that would create misunderstandings between her and her lover.
