"Greetings to your highness the crown prince," Pei An greeted Li Jun who was seen sitting in the pavilion.
"It looks like you're taking care of the garden very well," Li Jun said offhandedly as he gestured for her to sit. Then he ordered for the nearby servants to take off.
Pei An didn't wait to take a seat right after he gave permission. Li Jun stared at his fiancee and there was a lump of unsettling feeling inside his heart.
He couldn't point it out but for some reason, he felt strange. The way she looked at him was as detached and distant like strangers. He could rate is as decent at best.
He knew there was something going on.
"... You don't seem delighted to see me today,"
Pei An smiled without the intention to flatter him at all, "I guess you could see it,"
Li Jun flinched, "What's wrong with you? What did I do so wrong for you to act like this against me?"
