Chapter 16: Underwater
Cuifen quickly turned to Shuzo and inquired with sparkling eyes, "How about we take a look at the underwater?! I bet we can see it as well?! It will be incredible"
Shuzo unable to find a single clue of whatever this Leina is saying, turned to her and inquired with a puzzled face, "Underwater?!!"
It seems that Shuzo had no idea of what this underwater looks like.
Therefore, Cuifen turned to look at him with enthusiastic eyes and shared mesmerisingly, "Do you know that underwater world is the next beautiful creation?!"
In that era there were no records of the natural splendour of the earth, therefore, Shuzo hasn't had any idea of this underwater. He was so clueless about it.
Hence, he turned to Leina and inquired in curiousness, "I don't know any underwater thing. How did you know about it?!"
His sharp bizarre eyes were focusing on her with intensity.
Cuifen quickly getting back to reality instantly turned and pretended in pressure, "Ahh..that! I was taught in childhood and made me see the pictures of it. It was amazing"
"You told me that our childhood was different as we are of different parents?! It must be why you didn't know about it!?", she then added wittily.
Shuzo was listening to it all while Leina was busy making up the stories.
In her mind, she was left assured with the thought that it was wise of her to previously inquire him about their parents and how they were brought up. She can now use it and escape this tiny trouble.
Cuifen then smiles cunningly at Shuzo and continue with her story, "There were various sea creatures, fishes, corals, jellyfish. It was amazing! There were even giants fishes like whales, sharks, dolphins. The sea is one unreal thing if you haven't seen it then you have missed one of the most amazing things on this planet!", she continued in zeal.
Shuzo was left intrigued by the fact that something like the ocean even exists in the earth for real that there are even sea creatures?! Woah! That was insane.
As far as he know, there were only artificial seas and lakes, which he hasn't even seen.
Most of the natural resources has been deprived and driven off, turning them into canned fish that would last for the years to come.
Because that natural food has become scarce, all the natural fish have all been killed and created into various canned products.
Most of the fishes variety have gone extinct and the fishes that are preserved now are either mutated or varied ones.
There are no original fishes left on the planet. They were all given the thing that will make them grow faster and breed at a higher rate.
From the looks of it, Leina seems to saw it for real.
Shuzo was left amazed by the incredible underwater that she just mentioned.
It seems to be really amazing.
Wanting to see it for himself, he turned to Leina(Cuifen) and shared in interest, "That underwater that you just said, how about I programmed it? Perhaps the system has it?!"
Bewildered by it, Cuifen shooked her head at it and replied doubtingly, "Well...sure, let's try it"
She then glance at Shuzo and smiled in peace.
The two of them walked out from there and headed towards the system. There Shuzo started to write the program.
In the midst of it, he quickly turned to Leina and inquired in doubt, "The underwater of the ocean?!"
Cuifen shooked her head at it and replied in confidence, "Yes...!"
With wonder, Shuzo started to write the program on it.
After a while, he was done with the programming.
With the hopes that the program would be compiled to it, Shuzo was anxiously awaiting for the program to work.
After a short while, the system worked! It seems that the system has the data for the underwater.
The lights of the galaxy were slowly fading out and were slowly displaying the beautiful coral reef fishes. There were fish of different sizes and different colours swimming beautifully.
The calming effects of the seawater were apparent.
The life beneath the oceans was so beautiful yet intriguing. It takes them into a different state.
Shuzo was left dumbstruck in awe. Never knew that the Earth he is living has this kind of oceans.
The small yet tiny creatures were breathtaking to look at.
It was swimming right before his eyes.
The two were left in the middle of all of it as if they were in the depth of the ocean.
After a short while, there came a group of a gigantic blue whale with their unique whistling sound.
It was so majestic and mesmerising to look at.
Stunned by it, Shuzo continues to gawk at it.
Cuifen on the side was smiling at it all in elation.
The moment she saw the beautiful sea creatures she felt as if she has finally returned to home.
It reminds her of the days where she was playing the role of a mermaid and was filiming beneath the sea.
The thrilling yet exciting feeling that she felt at that time was still there.
Soon after a while, the whales left the scene.
While it was gone, there it came the beautiful tortoise swimming beautifully followed by the swarm of fish.
Next was the shark, it was calmly coming straight towards Shuzo.
Shooked by it, he turned aside in fright. The shark looks so real and unbelievable.
The appearance of it made him fright but then this creature too turned and left the place.
Intrigued by it, Shuzo exclaimed in amusement, "That one looks pretty scary!"
Cuifen smiled at it and replied in observance, "Shh...keep quiet! Here come the dolphins"
Curious by it, Shuzo turned to follow her gaze.
Like she said the group of dolphins came with the most unique and healing sound.
It was a wonderful sight.
Entertained by it, Shuzo turned to look at it all in amusement.
It was so peaceful yet healing to look at it all. Seeing all of these creatures made him to forget of the worries of the world for a while.
Even though it was just the lighting effects that is making them look so realistic, Shuzo felt the moment and didn't want to leave it.
The sea creatures were majestically beautiful. It was a sad thing that it was nowhere left to be seen. He has now realised what a magnificent thing they have lost.
The image he saw underwater was so ethereal that it has left a deep impression on him.
