District 42

Canute was opening slightly his eyes. After passing for so much pressure while trying to crawl to approach Vick, also as shout her name, he ended up fainting some times. He needed to witness her being tortured for too long as well, which made that his exhaustion and mental pressure came to their peak.

His body was very weak. He wasn't feeling too much pain, but he couldn't move some parts of his body because it would surely hurt if he did. His head was throbbing, which made it seem that it was nearly exploding.

The man tried to maintain his cool. He knew that, if he got agitated again, nothing good would come out of it. He didn't know for how long he stayed unconscious. Whatever happened to Vick during this time, he should just bear it and try to find a reasonable plan to get out of that mess.
