Casper couldn't tell how long it had been since he last kissed. He wasn't able to forget how it felt like to kiss someone you like, but now that he was doing it for real, it seemed like his imagination couldn't reproduce that feeling just right.
As the soldier was quite controlled, he never bothered too much because of that lack of intimate contact, but he couldn't deny that it was good to do it again.
During all that time in District 42, his relationship with Vick dragged for too long. He didn't want to take her out of his mind by any means all the time. She calmed his mind, somehow. Even though her personality wasn't exactly what they would call soothing, she had that effect on him.
In the middle of all those issues and suffering, although she was the cause for most of them, she seemed to be a tranquil lake where Casper could rest assured.
