Goodbye

Beep, beep, beep, beep.

The noise sounded so near, at the same time, so far away.

I tried to block it out, but it still continued. It went on and on and on. I tried to block out the noise but my attempts were futile.

I grunt before I open my eyes slowly. I had to blink my eyes several times when the bright light blinded me for a moment.

My hands and back felt stiff so I stood up from where I was sitted to stretch out.

"Oh Lord." I breathe out.

I looked at my surroundings to see I was in front of a house. I was sitted by the porch in a rocking chair.

Okayyy?

I don't know how I got there or when I got there and I'm not sure if I even wanted to find out.

I don't know when my legs started to move on it's on and I was walking forward. I left the house, left the neighborhood, left the street, until I stumbled upon a beach.

One moment I was at a house, the next I was at a beach.
