A Crash Course on Limitless

(Author's note: This will be an information chapter and will have no actual content.

Thanks for reading)

Limitless is the worlds first VRMMO. VRMMO is short for Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online. To access the game you will have to buy the virtual realty pod from Era's website.

All of the pod's will be of the same quality as to ensure fairness in Limitless. Though Era can do customisations to the pod for visual effects but it will cost more money.

The official of a VR pod's price is $7,500 or £5485. This is obviously the price on the official page and not private deals.

Hidden Beta players will get one free of charge but it would be normal looking.

Once you enter the pod and verify your personal detail such as an iris scan, finger print scan, credit card details etc. the pod is officially yours and no one can use it other than yourself to prevent 1 household playing the game in the same pod.

Era as partnered up with the worlds most prominent banks for the price of 75 game pods per bank and a 75 free tickets to the hidden beta so that they could get a foothold in the game

This partnership allows players to exchange the in-game currency for real cash. As soon as the hidden beta starts the worlds first quantum computer and strongest A.I, Cloud will take control of the operation of Era. The developers can only advise and guide Cloud to make certain decisions but as Cloud has the mentality of a mature 25 year old he is more than capable to run the game.

When Limitless launches the level cap would be level 500 so after that point there would have a world wide update that brings in new features and raises the level cap to 1000 but it would be a while till that happens.

Limitless is a game that has limitless possibilities for players to unfold and this shows when players aren't restricted by the class system when they're beginners.

All classes are very hard to get and only 10% of the worlds player base has a class and some of them are even top powerhouses in the game but their is a down side. If you have a class you will have to collect double exp which made people with classes behind the current player base in levels but about the same in strength.

There are two types of classes :Individual and Group. Group classes are even rarer than individual classes as they have to share exp with each other when they get exp and have to deal with the half exp but they get to have group skills and individual skills making them stronger

There are different tiers of classes:

Iron

Copper

Bronze

Silver

White Silver

Gold

Black Gold

Platinum

Shiny Platinum

Epic

Legendary

Envoy

Celestial

These are the ones currently known

Every tier of class needs to do a class quest when you get to a certain level, if you don't do them you wont be able to level higher than than that level.

These levels are:

25

50

100

250

500

1000

These are the current known ones.

After class quests you will be able to get more class skills.

Class skills and Normal skills are categorised like so:

Iron

Copper

Bronze

Silver

White Silver

Gold

Black Gold

Platinum

Shiny Platinum

Epic

Legendary

Myth

Celestial

These are the ones currently known.

In Shaun's last life he and the other Faction Leader inherited a group Legendary class, Servents. of Death.

To get the class they were forced to kill 3 cities worth of people individually to join get the class They could of shared the class with at least two more people but they decided against it as it would cause too much trouble.

In the whole game no one had ever seen a player Envoy or Celestial class and only 3 player factions had someone with a Legendary class: Thousand Eye, Golden River, Heavens Hammer.

These factions were not to be trifled with but they were all passive factions only attacking those who attacked them.

Thousand Eye was a Adventures Organisation

Golden River was a Business Organisation

Heavenly Hammer was Craftsmen Organisation

The Legendary class Faction leader of the other 2 Factions were quite open with their experiences in the game and were in the public eye a lot.

The NPC's however were a different story.

The Adventurers Association(A.A for short), Merchant Foundation(M.F for short), Craftsmen Inc.(C.I for short) and War Temple (W.T for short) were the main NPC organisations known to the world and were spread out through all the continents. Each of them had a Faction leader(s) that had a Celestial Class and their levels were unknown.

These factions, depending which one you join, give out beginner skill books from their area of expertise as long as you join there faction. If you have talent( a good synchronisation rate) they will give you low level to high level classes, the highest known class to get from a NPC faction is Shiny Platinum.

Though this sounds great, you will be bound to the NPC Faction for the rest of your characters time in the game unless you delete your character and restart the game.

You will not be able to join player organisations that aren't under the control of your chosen faction either.

You will be forced to complete a quota of tasks a month.

Basically you will be a slave.

The hidden beta players expierenced this first hand and in spite did not tell the new official players!

Restarting the game would make you have to wait 48 hours which is 10 in-game days to play again.

Some of these factions were made out of sub factions such as the Craftsmen Inc. They had Potion Inc., Metal Inc., Pills Inc. and Thread Inc. and each one had an Envoy class Faction sub Leader.

War Temple was a religious faction and had five Gods that they worshiped. God of Healing, Lilian, God of Bows and Arrows, Aria, God of Sword and Shield, Boma*, God of Real illusions and Magic, Mofa*, God of Daggers and Stealth, Tikkarit*.

War Temple had a Temple designated to each God and each had a Temple master. Each Temple master was an incarnation of the God they worshipped and each had a Celestial class which made War Temple the Strongest NPC Faction.

That was why no one thought about attack NPC factions until all information was known.

Limitless had an Organisation system for players who wanted to form factions.

There was a classification for Organisations and what they specified in:

Adventures Organisation

Business Organisation

Craftsman Organisation

Coaching Organisation

When players got round to finally start making these organisations they found out they could create them from multiple if not all classification but you would have to build up 2-4 different organisations at the same time which would need so many different recourses which players couldn't possibly get at the time.

An organisations internal structure is up to the Faction Leader but there are levels for the player organisation so organisation members have to do assignments to earn the organisation faction exp.

Monsters are classified by names in Limitless. Level:

1-10 are called Animals as they don't pose much threat to people

10-100 are called Beasts as they are dangers to weak adventures.

100-250 are called Monsters as they can cause serious damage.

250-500 are called Disasters as they are few in numbers and very rare to see but disaster follow them where ever they go.

500-1000 are Mythical Beasts. They are mythical beasts only seen in legends. they are barely ever seen and do not cause trouble if not annoyed normally.

These are the currently known ones.

Items are classed like so:

Iron

Copper

Bronze

Silver

White Silver

Gold

Black Gold

Platinum

Shiny Platinum

Epic

Legendary

Myth

World

In context everything up to Myth is the prize people get when they get classes but they can be found around the world or as Item drops though upper rarity Item are hard to find like a needle in a hay stack.

World level Items have not been seen since after the Creator God made Limitless with one. After he did that he threw the item very far never to be seen again by ordinary people.

Quests in Limitless are very important as they can decide the course on which history will go.

The difficulty of quest are:

F

E

D

C

B

A

S

SS

SSS

Transcendent

Main / Envoy

World

All up to SSS is pretty self explanatory. Easy to hard.

Main quests decide the path that Limitless is going to take which is very big.

Example. You get asked by the Imperial Dragon's Dynast whether to wage war against the Ocean Emperor Dynasty.

A. Yes

B No

This decision could through the cintjnenrx into disarray which is a major thing.

Envoy quest are at the same tier as main quests as they can only be completed by people with Envoy tier classes and they only affect specific individuals with great power but every time someone has triggered one they have had to hand the task to envoy class NPC's. Including the rewards.

Example. Bubbles has asked you to kill Ocean Emperor Dynasty's Dynast, Do you except.

Error. User doesn't have an Envoy Class, New quest Issued.

Ask the Dynast of the Imperial Dragon Dynasty's Dynast to kill Ocean Emperor Dynasty's Dynast using the reward given by Bubbles.

See what I mean.

Envoy quest can lead to a main quest so in compensation Cloud gives those that trigger them a chance to do the main quest but if you die and the main quest is active you will lose it.

There have been no World quest information but people speculate that it decides the destruction of Limitless.

Yes. Limitless can be destroyed. The possibilities are Limitless.

The world of Limitless is Limitless and no one has explored the entirety of it. At the beginning of the game there were five main continents:

The Main Continent- Kryios*

The North Continent-Norden*

The South Continent-Jyr*

The East Continent-Dong*

The West Continent-Vest*

Everyone can choose any continent except Kryios. To get to this continent you have to use special items in the game or press the random button when choosing your continent in character creation.

If you use the random button in continent selection you will randomly be put on a continent and beginner village in the continent. You will have a chance to be put in the Kryios but it is low.

There are 4 main cities in Limitless:

Imperial Dragon City

Celestial Wave City

World Tree City

Fire Creation City

These 4 cities are the head quarters by 4 of the most powerful Factions in Limitless throughout the 10 years (40 in-game) that Shaun knew. Each of them had a Dynast* that had a Envoy class and very high levels but they couldn't be compared with the NPC organisation that had Celestial Class Leaders.

There was a rumour that the depth and age of the organisations were so big that they could call the 4 ancient Dynasties Dynast 'a child' and get away with them still currying favour with them.

The Dynasties were called:

Imperial Dragon Dynasty

Ocean Kin Dynasty

Ancient Elven Dynasty

Arch Demon Dynasty

Each of the Dynasties own a Continent and their main city was in their respective continent but each but only own a small town and 4 little villages each in the main continent as it was very dangerous and hard to explore even for the very powerful factions.

The Dynasties own:

Imperial Dragon Dynasty- Dong

Ocean Emperor Dynasty-Vest

Ancient Elven Dynasty-Jyr

Arch Demon Dynasty-Norden

The Dynasties didn't get to name there respected continent as the organisation said they were named by very very powerful people and the name couldn't be changed.

The Continents represent which race you will be in Limitless but special items can change your race in game and there are limitless other races to become:

Dong- Dragon Kin-Impure blooded half dragons that have a human body and face but have horns, wings and tail. The colour of each dragon kin's scales represents the clan they're affiliated with. The deeper the colour the purer their blood. The purity of their blood is chosen at random. You can raise blood purity if you complete certain quests or get special items. If your blood is pure enough you can grow scales on your body but you can't become a dragon unless you have a race change. To get a race change from Dragon Kin to Dragon you have to fulfil evolution requirements and get certain items. The Clans that players get to choose are:

Norden-Demon-Lesser type of High Demon with impure blood. They have a human body and face but have 6 fingers on each hand, Light Coloured flaming hair and wild facial features. They were born from the Fire of Creation and worship it. The colour of their flaming hair decides what Clan they are in. The Deeper the colour of flaming hair they have the purer their blood. Purity of blood is chosen at random. You can raise blood purity through certain quests and special items. You can't become a High Demon unless you fulfil evolution requirements and get certain items.
