The next morning they were all up by eight am; even Jasmine. Diane had gone to bed before the guys last night but Gabriel didn't come to bed until two this morning; it didn't bother her that he came to bed that late she knew it was the guy's bachelor night and they just wanted to kick back and have fun, so she had left them to it.
By eight-thirty they were all gathered in the kitchen for breakfast which Gabriel and Marlon made. Before they had breakfast they all formed a circle and had a short prayer session. They thanked God for all his wonderful blessings and ask him to abide with them throughout the day; they also prayed that everything goes according to plan.
After breakfast, the guys went to take their showers, call their wives to be, and get dressed. Gabriel made a few phone calls before taking his bath while Diane helps Jasmine with hers. She and her sisters were going to stay home and keep an eye on things while Gabriel goes with the guys.
He had just finished getting dress and was about to go check on the guys when Diane came into the room; he was wearing a classic cut grey suit, grey shoes, his sliver diamond watch along with his Gucci sunglasses, his hair was comb back and held with a black band at the nape of his neck, he was so gorgeous that he literally took her breath away, for a few minutes all she could do was just stare at him.
"Careful baby boy, you don't want to outshine your friends on their big day." She comments with a bright smile as he walks towards her and pulls her into his arms. "Don't worry, I won't, but I'm certainly going to miss you, I wish you were going to be there beside me today but at least I'll be able to breathe a little easier knowing that you'll be safe here at home." She pulls his face down to hers and gave him a long passionate kiss which took his breath away and left him panting against her lips.
"You certainly know how to get my blood boiling in a hurry, don't you?" He chuckled softly. "Can I close the door for a few minutes? I could get you out of that dress and we could..." "No, you may not." Diane gasps cutting him off before he could finish his sentence. "You may leave the removal of my dress until later." "So you're going to let me go to my friend's wedding with a hard-on?" He asks with a groan and she hides a laugh behind her hands; he looks like a sad puppy whenever he made that face. "Come on baby, behave, don't think about that now, you have a long day ahead of you and I'll be right here waiting for you when you're finished okay." "Oh alright, let me go see what those lunatics are up to." He gave her another passionate kiss before leaving the room.
He and the guys left the house at nine forty-five in his freshly cleaned Escalade. Diana and Dana arrived at ten thirty am, ready to work and as usual, they took all their children with them. Gabriel and the guys arrived at the church and they sat in the car for a while going over the plan for the day one more time, just to make sure they hadn't left out anything,
They then went into the church to speak to the pastor. By eleven fifteen the church was full to capacity, they all knew that their wedding was going to be big but it didn't really hit them until they saw how many people were there. This was going to be one massive wedding. Mike thought to himself.
Gabriel had asked the members of the mass choir to be there today because he wanted them to sing a special song for the brides and grooms after they had said their vows. He saw the choir director outside and went to say a few words to him before taking his place at the altar with Justin, he was about to enter the church when he saw the limo arrive with Justin's bride, and as he took his place beside his friend he checks to make sure he had the ring. Mike and Marlon stood beside Gabriel; they decided to hold on to their rings until it was their turn to say their vows because if Gabriel had all three rings someone could very easily end up getting the wrong ring. The musicians began, first came the flower girl, then Claudette's maid of honor, then her bridesmaids and bridegrooms, the musicians then began the wedding march and everyone stand as the first bride enters the church with her father.
It was now two pm, Diane and her sisters were sitting by the pool watching the decorators put in their last-minute touches; the caterers were preparing their serving tables and all the things they were going to use and the musicians were preparing their sound equipment, the entire yard was buzzing with excitement once again and they were just sitting there taking it all in while signing up Gabriel's rent receipts for all his various complexes.
Gabriel stood at the altar with his friends and their wives; they were all pronounced husband and wife and they had all sign their marriage license; Now he, the bridesmaids, and the bride's grooms all stood beside the newlyweds as the choir sang. (It's just the beginning).
After the song was finished, the newlyweds all walk down the aisle first as families and friends threw rose petals and other flowers at them followed by the three bridal parties.
The newlyweds all left the church in one limo with two police escorts in front of them followed by two other limos carrying the three bridal parties, followed by the couple's parents who were driving their own vehicles or being driven by a family member; he followed behind the parent's vehicles and behind him was the video crew followed by two more police escort; the rest of the guests all head to his house for the grand reception.
Diane, her sisters, their kids, and jasmine were all dressed and ready for the reception. When she went downstairs Jasmine and her sisters were putting the icing on the cupcakes they bake for the children at the reception. "Wow girl, I love your dress." Dana compliments her as she took a seat in the kitchen.
"Thank you; Gabriel bought it for me." Jasmine put a tray of cupcakes in front of her and hand her the icing knife that she had in her hand. "Mummy, can you finish these for me, I have to go feed Lily." Alright, you can lock him in the garage when you're finished." Diane said over her shoulder. "Okay but it's not him; her name is Lily," Jasmine said with a pout and left the kitchen. Diane made a face and pick up one of the cupcakes, Diana couldn't help but laugh.
"I think she is getting too attach to that dog," Diana said putting a batch of cupcakes in a plain white box and Diane sighs heavily. "Me too and the scary thing is I can't do anything about it," Diane replied but Dana's mind was on something different from what her sisters were talking about.
They were discussing Jasmine's dog but she was thinking about Gabriel; they thought that Jasmine was getting too attached to her dog but she was sure she was becoming more and more obsessed with her sister's husband and try as she may she couldn't get him out of her head. Thank god they couldn't read minds because she would no doubt be banned from entering this house like her niece but she wanted to talk about him so bad that she abruptly changes the subject.
"Gabriel really has great taste in clothes, doesn't he? I mean; that's a stunning dress you're wearing Diane." She said matter of factly. "I know; he has great taste in a lot of things," Diane replied smiling but Dana wasn't ready to end the conversation. "You know; I've been here for a few months and there are a few things I've noticed about Gabriel that I really like."
"Like what?" Diana asks and a dreamy look came over Dana's face. "Like the way, he showers Diane with attention, the way how he's not afraid to show her how much he loves her. I also know that it's not easy for a womanizer to be faithful but that guy only has eyes for his wife but most of all I like how open and honest he is." Diana rolled her eyes at Dana.
"Come on Dana, he's a man, a very generous man but how open and honest can he really be?" Dana was offended by Diana's remark. "Well he's a lot more honest than most guys I know, for example whenever my ex used to gets a phone call he leaves the room. He would rather spend time with his friends than at home and he never admits how much money he makes, whenever I ask he would get angry." Dana said annoyed.
"I guess I can understand what you're talking about, my man has a lot of those qualities as well, as a matter of fact whenever he and his friends are talking and I enter the room, they all stop as if what they're saying isn't for my ears," Diana said nodding.
"Exactly, but when it comes on to an open relationship Gabriel has got that one in the bag, I've never seen him leave the room just because his phone rang, as a matter of fact, if his phone rang while he's doing some thing he usually puts the person on speaker. He doesn't hide his business from Diane or his acquaintances, come to think of it he doesn't hide anything from you Diane, not even the amount of money he makes, I mean, you're his accountant for crying out loud." Dana finishes.
Diane hand Diana the tray of cupcakes and took another tray and began icing those as well. "I for one couldn't believe my ears when he asks me to be his accountant but you know; I was remembering when Gabriel first started telling me about his past. The part about his family was very sad and I just wanted to hug him but then he began telling me about his women. He said he didn't have a steady girlfriend but because he used to party a lot he met a lot of girls and he would go through three or four per day." Diane said biting her lips.
"He said that as long as a girl he likes offers it to him he would take it, anywhere, any time not to mention he was also on drugs and he drank a lot, that alone made me want to run for the hills because I didn't want to end up being just another one of the girls he passed through but after a few months I realized just how special I was to him. I was the first girl he ever invited to his house, the first girl he ever kissed since he came to Jamaica and ..."
"Wait, you're the first girl he kissed since coming here?" Diana asked in surprise. "Yes, at least that's what he told me." Diana's eyes widen as Diane continued. I'm also the first girl he ever said I love you to and the first girl to make him try things in the bedroom that he never dreamed of trying before." That statement got her sister's full attention. "Like what?" Dana asks eagerly. Diane hesitates but didn't get a chance to answer because the children all came running into the kitchen screaming that the guests were starting to arrive.
Diane and her sisters stepped outside to see the servers handing out refreshments to the guests. The guards which worked on the night of the engagement party were once again posted at their assigned positions. Two was posted at the front door, two was at the gate and the rest was standing in different parts of the yard, at that point the babies became restless inside of her and she knew that it was time for her to go lay down for a while, so she told her sisters to keep an eye on Jasmine for her.
Diane sat up in bed and look at her watch, it was six pm, getting off the bed she stretches and went into the bathroom to freshen up, she then went downstairs, as she was walking past the guests looking for her sisters she heard herself being referred to as the help. A few minutes later she found her sisters at the serving table filling up their plates. Diana saw her walking towards them and from the look on her face, she knew something was wrong.
"Oh boy, what's wrong now?" Diana asks as Diane approaches them. Diane sighs heavily. "I just heard about four people referred to me as the help, why is it so hard for people to imagine that I'm Gabriel's wife, instead of the help?" She pouts. "Is that a trick question?" Dana asks stifling a laugh. Diane scowled at her and Dana made a funny face back at her.
"Oh come on Diane, you've been married to Gabriel for over a year now and you still can't believe that he's your husband, how do you expect other people to believe it?" Dana asks with a funny grin on her face. "I guess that makes sense, but it still hurts." She mumbles. "I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you because very soon everyone here is going to find out exactly who you're and then you'll have the last laugh," Diana comments as she put some food on a plate for Diane.
They were on their way to the pool when Diane's phone rang, "Hi baby boy." "Hi beautiful, are you okay?" "Yes, I'm fine." "Good, we're on our way to the house now okay." "Okay baby, I can't wait for you to get here, I miss you." "I miss you too beautiful; I'll see you in a few minutes." "Alright, I love you." "And I love you more, bye." She then turns to her sisters with a big smile on her face. "Gabriel is on his way home." Dana puts her plate on the table and claps her hands together. "Great, let the party begin."
