Chapter 47 Successful

"Of course, I would be happy to bake for you, while I take care of my babies, go back to school and take care of Gabriel's finances," Diane said scratching her head. "You're going back to school?" Desreen asks in disbelief. "Yes I am, as soon as the twins start Pre School; in the meantime, I'll be taking online courses. Gabriel wants me to get my bachelor's in accounting and business administration." "Wait a minute, aren't you already his accountant?" Dana asks. "Yes, but he wants me to be his certified accountant."

"That's great, I love the way your husband thinks, some men wouldn't even think of letting you go near their money and some would think that since you have the twins, you should become a stay at home mom, but not Gabriel, he's moving like the wind, have the babies, stay with them until they start school then move on to become his certified accountant, no wonder the guy is so successful, he just doesn't stop," Dana said with a sweet smile.

Gabriel was almost to his vehicle when Karen walks up to him. "Hi, Bro Gabriel I just wanted to thank you for helping me the other evening." "You're welcome. How have you been feeling?" "Good, I have been practicing the breathing exercise you showed me." "Good and what's with the Bro Gabriel?" He asks arching his brows.

"Well you're my church brother, aren't you?" "Yes, but you never called me that before." "Well, it's never too late to start showing some respect. My attitude towards you has been disgraceful, to say the least, and I'm sorry, please forgive me, anyway I've to go, I'll see you around." She said walking away.

"For a moment he was transported back to Sis Mitchell, he didn't get a chance to give Sis Mitchell a second chance but maybe he could give Karen one, after all, she was God's creation and she deserves to be respected. Yeah, she could be a pain in the ass, but she seems to be trying to get her life back on track, so why not give her a chance. He thought opening his car door.

It was now the third week of May, Gavin and Gabriella were now three months old and once again, Diane was looking forward to her two-year anniversary, which would be coming up in June. Gabriel had taken Jasmine to school earlier and half an hour ago, he called her, telling her to get dressed because he was coming to get her.

Three weeks ago he had taken her to her doctor's appointment at which point the doctor had recommended a birth control which would be safe for her because she was still breastfeeding; he had then taken her back two days ago at which point the doctor told her it was safe for her to have sex again, but their days and nights were so busy with Jasmine, the twins, his business and online classes and her baking for her sister, damn they were swamped up to their necks, so much so that they haven't gotten around to the lovemaking part, and from the looks of things she didn't know when they would get to have some alone time.

Half an hour later Gabriel enters the kitchen. "Hi ladies." "Hi Gabriel, Diane told us you were coming for her, she's upstairs pumping milk from her portable milk jugs." "Ooook, so will you ladies be able to handle the twins till we get back?" "Sure, we'll be ok, I'll take Gavin with me to pick up Jasmine and Dana can handle Gabriella."

"Thank you very much; we'll be back by five." "Alright have fun." Just then Diane walks into the kitchen with five bottles of milk. "Well here's everything, I'm completely dry." She laughs, Diana took the bottles and puts them in the warmer, she then turns back to Diane and hands her a bag. "Well here are a few empty bottles and a few warmers just in case you become full again, now, go have fun." "Fun? Where exactly are we going anyway?" She asks her husband curiously. "You'll find out soon enough, now let's go."

An hour later Gabriel pulled into the parking lot of the Indies Hotel and ten minutes later they were standing outside their door, Gabriel put a handkerchief over her eyes and led her inside. "What're you up to Mr. Maxwell?" "I'm sure you're smart enough to figure it out by now." He whispers in her ear, then took a few minutes to survey the room to make sure that everything was the way he ordered it. "Are you ready for your surprise?" He whispers in her ear. "Yes, yes I am." Smiling to himself he took off her blindfold and chuckled as her jaw practically dropped in shock.

Diane was floored by how amazing the room was. "O.M.G! This is amazing baby boy, I can't believe you did all this, it's so beautiful." "Well the doctor said that it was okay for us to make love again, we can't find the time to do it at home, so I just thought I would bring you here instead so that we could spend some quality time together and tomorrow I'll be looking for an apartment where we can go to be along anytime we want." He said kissing her cheek.

"Thank you, baby boy, I can't wait to make love to you again, it's being so long," "I miss making love to you too beautiful and I seriously couldn't wait for the doctor to give us the go-ahead." "Well we have the go-ahead and I'm all yours." Gabriel slowly stripped her clothes from her body then let her do the same to him, they then went and took a shower together, and their lovemaking begins there, after which he took her by the hand and led her to the bed.

He lies down on his back and puts her to sit over him but didn't enter her, instead he laces his fingers through hers and smiled up at her. You've made me so incredibly happy you know that girl? And I make a vow right now to spend the rest of my life loving you and making you happy." "And I vow to do the same, and …um… baby boy I'm sorry for accusing you so many times of being unfaithful to me, it's just that I find it hard to believe that you weren't."

"Well I wasn't and I never will, because being unfaithful to my wife is a sin and besides that would mean hurting you and that is something I'll never do." He pulled her down towards him, lay her on her back, and ran his fingers slowly along her cheek. "I love you with my entire heart baby girl and I thank God every day for bringing you into my life." "And I love you more Gabriel." She whispers as tears of joy ran down her cheeks.

"You're the most wonderful husband any woman could ever hope for, I'm blessed that you choose to be with me." "At one point in my life I lost my entire family, but God had a plan for me, when he was on the cross I was on his mind, he has blessed me with a new family and I'll be eternally grateful for that, baby girl; you're and will forever be the one and only girl for me, you have my heart girl, and you always will.' "And you'll always have mine, my handsome prince." With tears of joy running down his cheeks he made sweet passionate love to his wife.
