The soldiers looked confused by Airin's words while Airin stepped firmly towards them while they looked nervous and stepped back a little when tree roots seemed to move along with Airin's steps.

"Don't you guys know why I've been missing all this time and your bastard king to want to remarry and find a new queen?"

Airin only moved her finger as the tree roots swiftly moved through the heart of one of the soldiers. "Because I am the queen of the mages, I am the one who made the kingdom of Etona slowly crumble!"

Their eyes were all wide, with swords in their hands, the soldiers began to move quickly to attack Airin, cutting the tree roots that tried to ensnare and stab them even though some of them failed but some of them managed to get close to Airin.

Dead end
