You expect me to die, do you?

Claire's POV:

"Who are you calling honey?" Mom hit him as he was staring at him.

"Mom stop arguing with Uncle Max." We spoke.

"Max, I think you won't get back with Lia that fast. Even your daughters don't recognize you as their father yet." Grandpa said as we just try stop ourselves from laughing at the side.

"What are you guys' smirking at? Am I right on what I said?" Grandpa asked trickily and we then nodded.

"Yes, grandpa you are right. I think we would need to refuse to call him father for now." I said.

"Why am I the one being criticized now?" He asked.

"Because he just started treating us differently at the moment mom said he is our father." Kyline said.

"Yeah, she is right. So, for now your under-observation Mr. Blue." We said and as my mom laughed.

"Okay! Okay! But you can just call me Uncle Max and not to call me Mr. Blue that's too annoying." He said.

"Okay, okay, stop joking" She smiled while looking at us seriously and we can see it through her eyes that she was happy.

"Mom, your smile." I said.

"Is there a problem with my smile?" Mom asked in panic.

"Mom, we meant that your smile was like you saw the heaven." Kyline answered.

"The two of you are tricking me again?" I asked.

"Wash the dishes at the house later." Mom said.

"Lia? Don't tell me you made them wash the dishes." Grandpa asked in shocked.

"Yes, Dad do you have a problem with that?" Mom asked with confidence on herself.

"When you were at their age you didn't even touch the kitchen how could you let them work?" Grandpa said angrily.

"Grandpa in the country where we stay and grow, we need to do it ourselves although Uncle work for us and earn money to help mother that was just enough for us to leave, we can't afford to have a nanny." I said.

"And besides we have hands, toes to walk we can do it on ourselves, and we don't need anyone to do it for us if we can handle it ourselves." Kyline said,

"Yeah, sister is right." I said.

"It looks like your mother teaches you to be an independent woman." Grandpa said and he just then chuckled.

"Master Nishimura, are you ready to go home?" Grandpa Jin said.

"Okay, let's go home." Grandpa said.

Grandpa go to the rest room and get change while Grandpa Jin was helping him the four of us was left here at the room.

"Uncle Max you are not allowed to touch are mother." Kyline said as she run between them and brush off Uncle Max's hands that were about to hold our mother's hands.

"Kyline, Claire why didn't I noticed before that you guys were so childish?" He asked.

"Uncle Max you should have observed us clearer before." I said as I chuckled.

"Let's go." Grandpa said.

"Lia, let's talk later. You go home first." Uncle Max said.

"Where are you going, Uncle Max?" I asked.

"At the company I need to take care of something." Uncle Max said.

"Here is your mask cover your faces." Mom gave us mask to cover our identity.

After Dad left, we also left after doing through the formalities. We came back to the Nishimura Mansion as ever with our Dad.

"Y-Young Miss! Y-Your alive?!" The old woman involuntarily drops the basin she was holding as she came to run to my mother running with her eyes full of tears.

"Of course, I am alive, Aunt Shane." Mom smiled and hugged her as she saw us.

"Y-Young Miss, are they your daughters?" Grandma Shane asked as she approached us.

"Lia, why did we go here?" Grandpa asked.

"I've called Uncle Brent. You don't have to worry about it." I said.

"Bring my father upstairs, Aunt Shane." My mom said.

"But---" Grandma Shane look at my mom as she speaks "You don't need to worry about them. They won't have a chance to argue anyway."

"Yes, Young Miss." Grandma Shane said.

"Uncle Jin, please help Aunt Shane." Mom said.

"Mom, Is that Uncle Brent you said?" I asked. I saw man get out of a car in front of the house.

"Lia, how have you been little young?" He asked as he saw us. "Are this your daughters?"

"I've been good, and they are my daughters. How have you been Uncle Brent?" Mom said.

"I'm fine but I think since your back I think whatever Uncle left you… You should get them back." He said.

"Uncle, sorry for troubling you but help me with this house first." Mom boldly said straight to him.

"Let's get in." Granduncle Brent said as we get in the house, we were already hearing those words from the inside.

"What are you doing? Taking in a beggar?" I heard an old man said.

"What can you say? Brother Steven wasn't a beggar he was the legitimate child of Grandmaster Nishimura and all of you are the real beggar." Grandma Shane said as we step foot on the house and came to the living room. They look shocked when they saw my mother… "L-Lia? You are alive? How have you been?" An old man with a nearly blown-up attire came rushing into my mother. Mom just stood steadily in front of them.

"What? You expect me to die, didn't you?" Mom said.

"No, No, why would I? I'm so glad that you are alive." He said.

"Stop acting Uncle Lionel. Uncle Brent, can we do it fast without this drama? My princesses are already tired from a long journey." Mom said as she looks at us.

"What do you mean, Lia?" Granduncle Lionel asked.

"What Young Mistress mean to say is that since this house as given to her by her grandfather this originally be hers and all of you need to leave this instance." Granduncle Brent stated.

"Lia, please let us stay here. We don't have anywhere to go." Granduncle Lionel pleaded as he tugged into my mother's dress.
