SECHSUNDDREIβIG

I was awoken by the warmth that held my hand. I glanced where it felt. It was Theodore; he was resting his head during his handheld mine. "T- Theo..." I mumbled. He soon faced me; he was still in shock. I smiled at him. He reached for me then wrapped me in his arms. I felt hot liquid on my shoulders. "Mei?" Is he crying? I patted his head as he rested.

"I am glad you are awake; I am sorry, Mei." I shook my head, then faced him. "No faults blamed, let us be us next time, Theodore?" He nodded, holding me again.

He cupped my face, kissing my forehead. I hugged him back. We let go of each other as he asked. "How are you feeling? Should I call the physician?" One by one, he questioned. I just shook my head. "I feel fine; I just stressed myself." He was still unsure.

"I will just drink the pill; no need to worry," I assured him. He called the servants to attend to me as he went out of the solar. "Take care of her," He commanded.
