Chapter 4

I got home and looked everywhere for Yusu.

"Yusu, Yusu, where are you?" I asked calling him.

"Easy, I'm here," he said, appearing in the room. "What's wrong?"

-What, what is it? Look at me-I said with some annoyance.

-First you calm down, impulsive sir. Now tell me what happened-he told me. I sighed and told him everything that happened in the workshop. According to him, he said they were symptoms of my connection to the locket and that maybe my inner demon wanted out for a moment.

"My inner demon?"

-Yes. These things happen to you when your inner demon perceives something out of the ordinary. That and all your powers are also activated-let me explain.

It was approximately 3 in the morning and he still had not conceived of sleep. I got out of bed when I felt something or rather someone. An image of Melisa being attacked by men appeared in my mind. I was getting angry and felt like my body was burning again. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw my eyes turn red with fury. I yelped in anger and my body began to burn on fire. I began to change in size, my clothes stopped staying, I looked at the mirror again and in front of me was a creature without fur, red eyes, sharp teeth and large horns. I also managed to notice a gun behind me that I had never seen. It was a kind of two scythes joined together. I grabbed the gun and scrambled out the window. I felt like I was running at high speed down the road, as the wind hit my face.

I made it to Mexico, it was raining. Hear Melisa's screams that came from an abandoned building. With my claws I climbed the wall forming small holes with them, until I reached a window which was open.

I went in and saw those men who had her against the wall.

I slipped through the shadows and from above the ceiling took one of the subjects by the clothes. The remaining men froze and pointed their weapons at the ceiling. Melisa hid behind a wall, where she could also see absolutely everything from there.

"Damn, get out of wherever you are," one of them told me. I moved into the shadows and cut in two with my scythe.

"Damn," cursed another, seeing his partner bleeding to death.

"Show yourself," said the first one before. The place was illuminated by simple ceiling lights. I was coming out of the shadows and when they saw me, well their faces weren't exactly happy.

"And what are you?" Asked another man, scared when he saw my appearance.

"Get out of here or else you will die in the same way as your partner." My voice sounded severe, it was obvious that I was holding back, I really wanted to kill them with my bare hands. The men ignored me and started shooting. I, on the other hand, set out to kill them one by one. As for the first one, I took him by the neck with my hand and pressed him.

"It's funny, like a slight pressure on the neck," I said with a macabre smile. I realized what he was about to do, but managed to react and let go. I told him to get out and he did, he left.

Look at Melisa, who had seen everything from her hiding place. I left that place, but she was following me when I came out of the window. But I managed to lose sight of her when I increased my speed and heard how the police approached the scene.

The next morning, I woke up in my bed naked.

"Wow, I'm glad you wake up," Yusu told me next to me.

-What happened? And why am I naked? -Asked looking at my body.

"Don't you remember anything that happened at night?".

"At night?" I asked without understanding.

-Look, get dressed. Come see the news and you will find out-he told me and then leave me alone. I got dressed and went to the living room, the television was on and they were giving a news story that happened in Mexico the night before.

- "At night some thieves were brutally murdered in an old building that was under repair. Here is the young woman who saw everything, who says she was rescued from those men who harassed her"-

"I swear I don't know who he was, but what I'm sure is that I'm grateful to him for rescuing me," Melisa said on TV.

"What was the subject like?" Asked the journalist.

-He was very tall, his body was naked, and he had large claws and huge horns. And he brought with him a kind of very rare double scythe-she answered.-The last of the men who survived claims that it was a monster. What do you think of that miss? -Asked the reporter.-I'm sure it's not a monster. He only defended me from those men and if I were a monster he would have killed me too, "she answered sincerely.-In other news ... "- I turned off the TV."Do you want to explain to me what exactly happened to me?" I asked Yusu.

"Your demon came out, controlled you and you went to save that girl," he told me without further ado.

-Then that thing that I transformed into at night, was it real? -I asked, still unable to believe it.

-You are right. You felt someone was in danger and ran to their aid. That's what you should do with the rest of the world-he comment.

"I'd better pack my things already," I said ready to go to some forest.

"What for?" Yusu asked, following me. Even my room.

"I have to train if I want to handle this well ... which I am now," I replied.

"Good, but I'll go with you," he said.
