THE REUNION

SCARLET’S POV

The cold breeze coming from the swaying trees sends a shiver into my bones.

My cold hands touch my skin while I’m pulling my long hair away from my face.

I’m scanning the whole area of trees and at the center of it, the huge glass and wood mansion stood up in front of a small lake with an open huge lawn.

My senses heighten and the musky scent lingers in the air so strong that is causing my allergy.

I couldn’t control my sneezing.

And endless sneezing.

“Hey, Scarlet! Are you okay? Snap out of it, now!” Grus said in almost a whisper. He is trying to control his huge voice and does not want the pack to sense our presence.

“They are more than twenty, I could see....five of them is going out of the mansion right now!” I muttered.

“Can you see Luna?” Caelum is becoming impatient every time and I couldn’t blame him.

“Scarlet, you have to be very careful, okay? You do not need to use your magic if you do not need to.
