Chapter Seventeen

It's already midnight and I'm still awake. The guy named Amherst can get out of my mind. I feel that he hides his true identity. I feel his powerful energy covering his body. What kind of creature is he? Does he belong to us? Or is he the one of our enemies that hides in darkness.

I stopped to think when I heard a series of knocks on the door. I slowly opened it and I was surprised, it opened up to me, my Grandmother, my mother and Aunt Salina.

"What brought you here?" I asked them.

"Oh, dear can we come inside, we have something to tell you." My Aunt Salina pleases me.

I open the door wide to let them come inside my room. I wonder what they will tell me about this kind of hour. My mother sat beside me and at that moment she held my hand, she was being too emotional that I never saw her.

"Mom, Why? Is there something wrong?"

"Thana, my child, the time has come."
