It was our fifth meet-up. I did my best to give her time and let her see that I wasn't the guy who everybody thinks of. I know she told me already that it was a mistake, judging me and accusing me of things without hearing my side. But for the first time, I want to prove to someone, specifically Zyrine, that I'm different from what she thought of me before.

Maybe that's because I like her. Hmm, that makes sense.

I went to her classroom to see her and give her the snacks I bought for her. As soon as she saw me outside, she stood lazily and rolled her eyes. She pushed me away from the door so that her classmates won't see us.

She groaned, "Seriously, stop buying foods for me. Next time, let's just eat together, that's better." I was frozen for a while, taken aback by what she just said. I chuckled and pat her head, "Okay, noted."

I smiled sheepishly, "Do you mind if I follow you later whilst going home?" She pulled her eyebrows together, "Not really. But uh, why would you do that?" Confusion was visible on her voice and face.

I scratch the back of my head, "My mom said to follow my dreams so....." She laughed loudly whilst clapping her hands. She pointed at me, "That was a good one."

She became serious in an instant, "I kept thinking that you look like someone." She held her chin like she was thinking. I frowned, "I look like who?" Then she showed me her pearl white teeth, smiled from ear to ear, her eyes disappeared, "My future boyfriend!"

I blinked a lot of times and gulped hard. My hands were sweaty and I couldn't look straight into her eyes. I started this but in the end, she won. Geez.

She laughed softly at my reaction.

I was about to speak when I heard a familiar voice near where we stood. I looked behind her and saw Gwynette, staring at us intensely. Or should I say that she was only staring at me with fierce eyes and was about to throw hands? What's her problem? Geez.

Zyrine turned around to see what I was looking at. As soon as Zyrine faced Gwynette, she instantly changed her expression from a scary tiger to a sweet cat. Girls do change moods within a second and it's scary as heck.

Whilst they were hugging each other, Gwynette used her finger to motioned me to come with her. I groaned out of frustration. What did I do?

After they talked, I bid goodbye to Zyrine.

We were walking towards nowhere. She stopped walking so I stopped, too. She was at it again with her deadly look. She tiptoed and leaned forward. I thought she was going to kiss me and now I wanted to walk away out of embarrassment. She grabbed my ear and twisted it until it got red. I shouted in pain and once she let my ear go, I touched and blocked it with my hand, as if it was going to go any second.

I stared at her, my voice rose, "What the heck is your problem?"

She stared back, her eyebrows were pulled together, "What business do you have with Zyrine?"

I scoffed and messed my hair. I'm getting frustrated. Why is everyone minding me when I'm with Zyrine?

"I like her, okay? I won't do anything to her, you know that!" Her shoulders suddenly relaxed. She sighed. She told me something before she left me quietly, "Okay. I'm sorry for acting like that. I just care for both of you, that's why. I know you're confused as to why I acted that way. You guys had experienced the same thing that's why I wanted to protect you and Zyrine. If that's the case, then I know you're in good hands and so is she."
