The year is 2025 when the new VR game, Kingdom of Shadows, is released to the world. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humans have special abilities.

Luca is a high school boy who gets recruited by a company to play the game and unravel its secrets. However, he soon realizes that this might be more than just a game. 

When the fate of humanity is held by a young boy, will we be able to survive and prevent a catastrophe?

Ryker had been so invested in cooking that he didn't realize when the market opened and his party entered looking for him. They had been unable to travel as when Ryker came back from the dream realm, his body would be transported to where he was before. As soon as the sunset, they entered the dream realm and went directly to where Ryker had been resting for the past four days. They were against the clock but could not abandon him.

They were pleasantly surprised when they saw him up and cooking. Shila was about to go and punch him when she was stopped by the chef. He knew that Ryker was completely zoomed in on the cooking and if he were distracted, the food could turn out terrible. They stood there in amazement as Ryker chopped up the protein and then made the skewers. Due to the heat coming from the grill, he ended up sweating a lot.

After he finished, he looked around and saw his party standing there.
