Invitation

Just as Monroe Butler finished his words he suddenly felt the temperature of the room descending down rapidly. He looked at Ren to see her glaring at him in a coldness he had never seen before in her eyes.

She was always gentle and respectful towards him even when he was just a butler but today he first witnessed what Ren's behavior was to everyone usually. She was always cold and reproachful toward others even if they were stronger than her. It had become part of her personality to exude such coldness.

But just as Butler told her his mission, her usual personality inadvertently slipped out. She collected her thoughts as she closed her eyes, and then spoke to him, 

"Sorry Uncle, But I can't let you complete your mission. Any student here comes under my care and I won't let anything happen to anyone here."
