The Eyes of Cataclysm - Kaal Mahapadma

The year 1994, May 10

A little boy, hardly of age 8, slammed the door of his room hard as he entered his room and jumped over his bed. He grumbled under his breath angrily,

"Why? Mom, I was having fun…."

A few seconds later, there was a knock on his door but knowing well who it was he didn't respond.

"Sweety, open the door. I know you are upset but Mom had a reason.

There would be an eclipse in a few hours and during the eclipse, we shouldn't see the sun directly. It harms our eyes. That's why I called you back."

The Kid refused to reply as he stayed on his bed without moving. He scowled hard and refused to answer no matter how much his mother tried to console him and ultimately she left, thinking that the boy needed time to cool down. After all, how long can a child of eight stay angry?
