Stepping out into the light, Mae with Hagi at her side, watched the Viscero as he walked over to the king, head high, back straight, portrait proudly displayed in his hands. The noise of the crowd had been reduced to hushed whispers, gasps, and forced huffs filled with skepticism despite having witnessed his return with portrait in hand, for themselves.

"My king," Andarow said, holding his photo out for him to see, "it was as nothing, and then this appeared."

As the king took the photo, the queen and the princes gathered around, and Andarow held the Onu out to him.

"It would be a great honor for the photographer Hagi, if you would allow him to take a portrait of you and your family."
