Epilogue

Three years would pass as promised, in the blink of an eye, when Phay'leona awoke. She didn't remember much from before that moment. A faint lingering warmth on her lips, the feeling of a hole in her chest, and the single thought of 'I am Phay'leona,' echoing through her head.

Sitting up, she found herself on a bed, clad in a dark grey leather armor from ankle to neck. There was a single set of boots next to the door on the other side of the small room, a single window, open to the outside world, allowing in light and fresh air. Swinging her legs over the edge of the bed, which was larger than she thought necessary for herself, her bare feet sunk into the soft blue fur of a thick plush rug. Taking a breath, she could remember the scent of the flowers, a brief flash of a garden coming to the forefront of her mind before vanishing all the same.
