Chapter 7

I stared at the door of the basement from where I sat . I have been noticing that basement . The door was always locked and my aunt was always protective of it. I remember the last time I came with my cousins to her house. We all played hide and seek. Chels and I wanted to hide in the basement but as we were about to open the door my aunty from no where stopped us and gave us a perfect hidding spot. From that very day she became my suspect and I wanted to open that basement door badly and here I am alone no aunty to stop me my perfect opportunity.

I stare at the door in thought I heard a thudding sound from the basement. A gasp escaped my lips. I kept quiet and listen closely from my seat and I heard the sound again. I jumped from my seat and ran up stairs in full speed breathing heavily. I didn't hesitate to wrap my self .

Finally , like wat seems like forever I saw light. The sound of bird singing and the trees dancing a new day has been born I prepared for school.

I entered the class very quiet and everyone looked at me. I never wanted I caught anyone's attention . They all stared at me in disgust. Is not new am used to it. I sat on the first seat my eyes scan the class for my enemies.

Soon Mariah came in she was wearing a wig and someone else was with her . It was a huge tall ugly man .

" That's the girl who pour black paint on me " . Mariah said faking tears which you could clearly see.

" Stand up young lady " The Man said . He couldn't be her dad but I wish he is .

I stood up obediently looking down at my shoes and I heard Mariah chuckle

" To the head office ".

Soon we were at her office . The so called head of sanitary whatever .

I sat on the couch waiting for the head of whati to punish me.

"Let her in " I heard a woman said .

When I came in she told me to stand close to the door .

" This lady pour a black paint on the sanitary prefect ".

So Mariah is a perfect no just a perfect a sanitary prefect I wanted to laugh out loud. No wonder she was behaving like a moron.

" Take her to the cleaners and let her sweep the whole section and wash the dirty dishes at the cafe for the full week " .

She didn't give room for me to explain .

" Look at your shoe . Tie it before you leave this office " She added and I just did as I was told .

I was given a special broom and a bin
