"Listen here Shun! I thought we were friends!" Shouted Maki shaking me.
"We are. But if she wants me- ow ow ow." I said as Saki started to twist my skin.
"You were saying?" Said Saki with a death glare.
"Nope. Nothing from me." I said.
"Good." Saki said letting me go.
I am finally free of pain. But oh god did that hurt. She is a lot more terrifying that you would ever expect. And she said she was afraid of me. I think it's the other way around.
"And now judging from the applause. It looks like the winner of match two is Class C! Creating the score to be one to one! This up coming match will be the tie breaker to decide the winner of this class battle!" Yelled the commentator really firing up the audience.
I looked off onto the battle field nervous and fired up about what's to come. As I looked across I could see Charles with the largest grin on his face making me clench my first.
"Hey. No losing your head this early." Said Saki elbowing me in the side.
"If anything I'm just excited to get started. We'll show them what the Misfit Class can truly do." I said determined to win this match.
"Oh really? Let's all truly see just how much disgrace the Misfit Class can bring to our fine school." Said Charles as him and his team approached the field.
"Are we really the disgrace of this school or is it the hierarchy that is based off of status and not power or grades?" I responded as I walked up to him.
"Oh look another noble trying to be a sympathizer of the peasants. Oh very noble of you. Is that how you ended up in this class in the first place?" Asked Charles standing right in my face.
"Oh don't you dare take it there. If you've got a problem with me let's keep it that way." I said grabbing his collar.
"Wowowowow. Um this is a presentation format not a battle format. So if the Misfit Class could be so kind as to leave the field so we can continue with the presentation that would be much appreciated." Said the commentator afraid of a fight breaking out.
Regardless of his plead I kept my hand tightly gripping his collar not letting go of the eye contact. I can feel all the stares from everyone in the audience at my side. I could even sense the worry from my parents.
"Shun. This isn't the time." Whispered Saki as she tugged on my shirt.
I took a deep breath and let him go. Charles and I didn't exchange any further words or anything else. We just both turned our backs to each other and walked away.
"You had me worried there." Said Saki as we walked back to our class.
"Shit. I'm sorry." I said as I shook my head trying to bring myself back to reality.
"Shun baby are you okay?" Asked Mom.
I turned around to see Mom and Dad rushing over to me.
"What are you guys doing over here? Shouldn't you be in the stands watching?" I asked.
"I mean we were up until we saw you snap at the other guy." Responded Dad.
"Yeah. Is everything alright? You've been on edge ever since you had that nightmare." Said Mom.
"Wait, what nightmare?" Asked Saki.
"Mom. Dad. I'm fine, okay? Trust me I'm alright." I said putting my hand on my mom's shoulder.
My mom just looked at me with a very worried look for a couple of seconds before giving me a hug.
"I'll trust you. But tomorrow morning we are going to have to talk about this nightmare." Mom said with a very serious look.
"Fine." I said before they finally started to make their way back to the stands.
Great. If I were to be honest now. My nerves and anxiety are through the roof right now. I unintentionally just made another scene then worried my parents. This is definitely not how I wanted this to go down.
While I was freaking out I felt someone slowly sliding their hand into mine. I turned to my left to find Rikiwari holding my hand.
"Shhh. Just breath right now." She said softly
And with that being said Saki also grabbed ahold of my hand too. I turned to her and all Saki did was give me a smile.
"Um I don't know what's going on but where are the students? Class C please go back to the field and let's start the match please." Said the commentator.
And Charles being the way he is didn't miss a beat and made his way to the field with his two other members.
As Charles walked forward a couple of steps he began to go on a full sprint. The two other members unleashed swords out of thin air. One that looked like it was made out of straight lightning and the other being made of leaves. Once the swords were fully manifested they broke out in a chase after Charles. Charles whipped back around letting the two of them hit him.
"Did he just let himself get hit by two swords?" I asked.
"Yeah. He has a tendency to show off like this." Said Scar crossing his arms.
When Scar told me that I began to look closer. And I quickly noticed that the swords stopped an inch before him in the air. It was as if the swords it an invisible wall that was in front of Charles.
Suddenly the air where the swords stopped began to ripple like a pond. Charles snapped his fingers and a bunch of air pressure flew at them sending them backwards.
"What the hell was that?" I asked.
"It's his bond. His bond is similar to Rikiwari's in the fundamental sense. However Charles has to be attacked physically or magically. Allowing for him to absorb the strength of the attack then multiplying the strength within himself. Finally shooting back the same attack with stronger force." Explained Anton.
The two sword wielders got up from the ground. They took their swords and joined them to create one larger sword made from their elements. With their joined forces the moved together to launch one last attack. The sword was swung with such force it looked as if it cut through the air.
Once they made contact with Charles a huge gust of wind erupted. However, Charles was still shielded from the hit thanks to his ability. But that didn't stop his classmates from backing away and hitting him again with what seemed to be stronger than the last. This time slowly pushing Charles back with the force from the attack.
Charles quickly started absorbing the force along with the magical elements that made the sword. Creating a cyclone of colors. Charles quickly hit his limit of what he could absorb and shot everything back upwards into the air. Creating a rain of rainbow sparkles as the three of them lined up together and bowed.
