Sadness of Okiki-osupa, Before the Priest.

With the prevailing noises that conquered the palace, Osukapo spoke to her feet to walk her, and her eyes to peep into the palace from the entrance leading into her chamber and such was Okiki-osupa who had taken to peeping in the same manner only to satisfy her curiosity.

If only she had not seen the celebration in the palace and not indeed searched for Oranmiyan, whom he now found with the princess of Ilupeju and with the way the princess had looked unto him had been nothing but admiration, maybe she would not have fallen into her sadness.

The longer she stared, the more her emotions rode on her face and the question: if Oranmiyan had not betrayed her trust she continued to ask herself even out of the blue.

Though her eyes could no longer endure what she saw, she had indeed remained there to watch every activity that happened and with tears in her eyes, she had continued to call the name of Oranmiyan in her lowest voice beneath her tongue.
