witty sunbae
I sit in front of Hyo Joo's dorm waiting for her. our holiday is end. nothing happened after our last dinner. we've been busy to prepared for second semester. Hyo joo still work while renewed her scholarship, she also attend some extra event before starting. meanwhile me and Bom and song is edited our "that feeling" song. someone contacted us. we probably had a chance to publish it officially.
clap... clap...
I hear clapping sound, I look where the sound come from. I look up and sees Hyo Joo head pop out from her dorm window. she waving to me and give a code for wait a little bit.
5 minutes later I see Hyo Joo run slowly to me. she looks cute. I get up.
"I'm sorry did you wait me for long time?"
"no, I didn't "
"okay, let's go"
"wait"
Hyo joo stop walking. I walk close to her. I pat her head and stroke her hair. and I touch her face softly. she lean her face to my hand and kiss my hand palm.
I hold her hand
"Let's go" I said
we walk together, at the first day of second semester. now is middle of March, spring season will start soon. the air feel fresh cause the winter just over. we still feel the cold a little. I put Hyo joo hand at my padding coat.
we meet the others at canteen. Bom, Song and Vivi.
"finally they come, I'm hungry"
"I'm sorry" I said
"no, it's me. I'm the one who late" Hyo joo defending me
"everyone here let's eat breakfast " Bom said
Nana doesn't come cause she had a group activities earlier.
"Hey, sorry we interrupted you. please take this"
some sunbae (seniors) give us a brochure
"Student representatives elections" Bom read it
"do you guys want to get in?" Bom asked

"what about you? you want to get in?" hyo joo ask me

everyone looking at me

the article title seem too much exaggerated for me
"see, you well known at our department " Song pat my shoulder
"Hyun Jae, I think Hyo Joo will happy if you do it too" Vivi said and wink at hyo joo

that one, Bom point to front door
a very well proportions girl with black dress and jacket enter the canteen. she wear high boots, her hair is long and walk confidently.
"morning my friends" she waves to us
"morning honey" she hug Bom from the back and kiss his cheek
"hey" Bom half yelling
Nana just giggles and stretch out her tongue
"weeek"
"what are you guys talking? I just come back from my "hell" assignment that start even before the sun rise. I still sleepy " Nana put her head at Bom shoulder. Bom like so done with Nana acts
"we want to join this election "
"student representatives, I'm in" Nana shout

after eat we separated to our class.
"bye" I said cutely to Hyo Joo
"stop it" Bom and Song drags me

"I don't know" Hyo Joo answer short
"hm, I'm sleepy. I will sleep"

Hyo Joo just silence, deep down in her heart Hyo joo feel uneasy after read the article.
"but, Hyo Joo. if I was you, I'll protect Hyun Jae at all cost"

Nana feel asleep and as she said, Mr Choi late for 30 minutes.
but 30 minutes waiting Mr Choi makes me crazy, cause I was read every comments in Hyun Jae article. and he is star of his major, most of the comments is from girl. ah what to do.

we walk out from the class. the corridor are is crowded

"Hey, I was flattered for a bit cause you two look so handsome today. but you just annoyed as always" Nana hit Jun
"Hey, how dare you hit your sunbae" Jun voice high

"not yet, I will eat with Nana and couple of friends "
"Ah, our Hyo Joo is pretty popular too. she had a good grades, had many friends and she..."
"she has boyfriend " Nana said out of the blue

"what, boyfriend ? boyfriend you said? hyo joo boyfriend" Jun eyes open and closed cause he can't accept the reality
"is it true Hyo Joo-ya? " daeyeol keep himself calm
"Yes" Hyo Joo answer
"Why? we just went for a while and you already have a boyfriend? oppa feel sad" daeyeol sad
"who is he? from where? who is he. who is dare enough to date my sister withoutmy permission" Jun speak loudly
"oppa, lower your voice. people see us" Hyo Joo grab Jun's bag
"hyo joo-ya... do you forget oppa, oppa really miss you. and now you already grew up and don'tcare about us anymore. we've been waiting for you all the time " daeyeol sad

at that time I, Bom and Song come. we saw a really chaotic moment.
"it's him. Hey Hyun Jae you better rescuing your girlfriend from this two crazy people"
"Uh, Hyun jae, girlfriend " daeyeol and Jun walking closer to us

Bom and Song spontaneously point at me
I raised my hand

the others follow us like a duck.

we sit at the canteen, they look make me cornered.
"since when you dating Hyo Joo?"

they keep asking me without give me a chance to answer. Bom and Song who also come not helping me. Nana then drags Bom and Song go out from the canteen.
"Jun oppa, daeyeol oppa. this is Hyun Jae my boyfriend. I'm sorry I'm not telling you earlier "
"you makes me sad Hyo Joo" Daeyeol shook his head
"Hey, what happened?" Alex come
"Hey Alex, why you didn't told us about this?"
"Ah, I forgot " Alex answer lightly
"so you already know?"
"yes"
"Hey, you " Jun choke Alex
"stop it, they just date for couple months " Alex said
"and at that time you two were busy with the intern assignment"
"so let's eat, I'm hungry"
"Oh okay" Jun agree
after eat
"oppa, we will go now. we still have class "
"yes...." Jun and daeyeol happily talk to Hyo Joo
"me too, excuse me sunbae "
"Hey you, sit here don't go anywhere " Jun said
"let him go" Alex said
"the kids said he has a class " Alex give us a code to leave
"Hey, you kid" man named Jun called me
"if you messed up or hurting our Hyo Joo. we will go to a mountain and dig a hole. you understand " Jun speak fiery
daeyeol make a watching sign with point his 2 finger from his eyes to me.
"and Hyo Joo..." suddenly their voice getting soft
"oppa I love you" Hyo Joo smile so sincerely to them
"oppa too. bye" they waving to Hyo Joo
after we leave
"Hey, what so good about that kid. he seems weak. why you let them" Jun complaining to Alex
"he seems sloppy and not reliable " daeyeol add fueled
Alex put his coffe
"I know"
"so?"
"he might be look weak, sloppy and not reliable. but I saw how he protect Hyo Joo and how he behave around his friends and how he treat Hyo Joo"
Alex telling them about drunk man accident and many other things. Alex always watched Hyo Joo without her noticed. Alex will trace her, see if she safe arrives at her workplace and home. look for her activities or just track her position from his phone.
"you think I'll let my baby sister dating a jerk? I'm watching them. for a month. and i never saw Hyo Joo so happy like that. she never stop smiling. I've ask about Hyun Jae too, it's not difficult since we are in same major"
Jun and daeyeol seems gloomy
"Hey, I know both of you cares Hyo Joo. I'm sorry for not telling you two earlier. I just don't want you hysterical and runaway from your intern assignment "
"next time we will play together like old time"
they up their glass and drink. they begin to laugh and talking about their own friendship matters.

we walk to the park. we sit at the bench under the tree.
"Hyo Joo, can I asks something?" I said
"Yes, Ofcourse "
"who are they?"
"they Alex friends " Hyo Joo lean her head to my shoulder

"please don't misunderstanding them" Hyo Joo close her eyes
"Why I must misunderstand about them? I trust you" I hold her hand
"Jun oppa once have a baby sister, but she passed away when she was 10, she have a leukemia. and Daeyeol oppa have a baby sister too, but their parents divorced when he was 15 and his mother take his sister with her, moved to london. he never heard anything about his sister since. both of them is same age as me"
Hyo Joo take a deep breath
" when I moved to my dad's house. Alex introduced me to them. since that both of them shower me with love and cares. maybe I reminded them to their own sister. and for me it's okay. I try to fill the emptiness that their sister leave for them. you know, the people who left behind always feel so much pain than death"
Hyo Joo take her phone and show me some old photo.
"it taken 2 years ago"
it's Hyo Joo, Alex, Jun and daeyeol photo, looks like their celebrating Hyo Joo birthday.
"Hyo Joo, I know you are a good girl since the beginning. but more I know you, more I learn that you have a warm heart. maybe that's the reason I always feel safe, calm and happy around you"
"but can you give me a chance to protect you and loving you in the way I can, along with your three brothers and our friends?"
Hyo Joo smile, she touch my face with both her hands. she give me a short kiss in my lips.

the flower grows and bloom and then died, leaving seeds that been spread around the soil. in time the seed begin to grow, and flower will bloom once again at this spring. birds came one by one, playing in the tree as the weather getting warmer. I hope all the pain that we have is already buried and replace with a new happy memory. I hope everyone flower will bloom once again.
