dark past that followed us 2 Vivi POV

the electricity is on, but me and Nana see some blood trace at the floor and a broken phone. we shout and search Hyo Joo but we can't find her.

Nana take her phone and make a call

"Oh, Nana, why?"

"Hyo Joo missing "

"what? Hyo Joo is missing" Bom voice makes Song shock

Hyun Jae slowly open his eyes. he walk from his bed room and lean to his door

"what happened? Why Hyo Joo?"

after said that Hyun Jae pass out again

Hyun Jae and Hyo Joo open ther eyes slowly. their in a bedroom but in a different place and different situation. Hyun jae feel so dizzy meanwhile Hyo Joo can feel pain at the edge of her lip. Hyun jae try to sit while Hyo Joo in other place try to move her hands but she can't. her hands and legs is tied at the chair. Hyun Jae look around and he looks at something. Hyo Joo eyes get wide, someone get into the room

"are you awake?" a heavy voice heard

"who are you?" Hyo Joo asks

he walk closer to Hyo Joo.

"it's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you. you dragged here by mistakes. but it's late to let you go"

he stroke Hyo Joo hair

"you're pretty but Vivi is the prettiest "

me and Nana comes to Hyun Jae place. as soon as we open the door Song hug me and Bom also hug Nana.

"are you okay, anything hurts?" Bom worries

we never saw Bom act like that before.

"Where's Hyun Jae?" Nana ask

"he's in his room, he take shower and changing his clothes " Song answer

"he still can shower and change?. wow" Nana said

"Nana we found Hyun jae in bad condition last night. he's heavy drunk, he throw up at his clothes. we are the one who asked him to clean himself hope he can fully sober"

"do he knows Hyo Joo is missing?" I ask

"Yes" Song answer

"had you call the police " Song ask me

"Yes. now they tracking all cctv and ask everyone at the dorm"

Hyun jae get out from his room, his eyes swallow and he's face so pale.

"we need to find Hyo Joo"

"you not strong enough" Bom hold Hyun Jae's hand

"but I can't sit here and waiting " Hyun Jae face so desperate

"then tell me what happened with you" Bom speak

"maybe there's connections with everything that happens now"

"I don't remember anything " Hyun Jae sit at the floor

my phone ringing, from unknown number

"everyone please quiet looks like the stalker calls me"

everyone try to hold their voice even Nana looks so nervous that she hold her breath. I put on the speaker

"hello"

"Hello, Vivi. why you run from home and goes to your friends place. don't you want to meet me?"

"Yes, I do"

"LIAR!!!" he yelled

"no, I'm not a liar. please tell me my friend is alright. I beg you"

"Ah, your friend. she's pretty. and strong. HE MAKES ME BLEED!!!" he yelled again

"she's not mean to do it, we just scared"

"scared? are you scared with me. but I love you. I want to protect you from them" his voice getting soft

"then please tell me , Where's Hyo Joo, how is she?"

"you wanna hear her voices?"

"Yes, please. I'm begging you"

I can see Hyun Jae face, he looks so worries.

"okay. I'll call you again with video to show you how good I take care your friend"

he end the phone

Hyun Jae hold my hand

"who is he? you know him. what he did to Hyo Joo?"

Hyun jae hold my hand so strong, Song take Hyun Jae's hand from me. I can fully understand his actions.

"Hyun Jae, I'm sorry but we need to find Hyo Joo first. I'll explain everything later. this just the only chance we contacted Hyo Joo"

a video call comes from unknown number

I hold my breath and answer it. the others stand behind my phone. so he just can see me. but he close his camera with his finger.

"Where's hyo joo, i can't see anything "

the camera slowly clear and I can see Hyo Joo tied at the chair. her mouth is closed with some fabrics.

"here's your friend. should I play with her?"

I just hear his voices, he still not in the camera

I need to do something to make him to get close to the camera.

"you said you wanna meet me, why you didn't show your face?"

"my face?" he said

"Yes, if I can't see your face then how we can meet?" I try to persuade him

"if I show my face, then I'll take a pay for it"

"okay, I'll do anything " I said faster

"anything?"

"yes"

then he slowly walk into the camera angle. I realized he's the one who bumped to me before. but his face not clear, he wear mask.

"can you take of your mask? I can't see you"

"you gonna pay so much for it. do you still want to do it?" he said

"yes"

I hope if I see his face then will be easy to us for find Hyo Joo. He open his mask slowly. and I really surprises with what I look. I know him

"Hi ,vivi. long time no see" he speak lightly

"you. let my friend go" Vivi speak louder

"no. I did what you ask. and I'll take my price"

"what do you want? money? meet me? just let her go" I lost my control

" no, I'll take from her"

my eyes get bigger

"don't do anything to her. or I swear you'll be regret it forever"

but he not listen to me, he walk to Hyo Joo, open the fabrics that cover her mouth. he take out some knife.

"stop it!" I yelled

Hyun Jae can't control himself. Song and Bom try to hold him and Nana close his mouth.

"Please don't do anything to her. take me, I'm the one you shoul meet"

he's smiling to me and tear Hyo Joo shirt down almost to Hyo Joo chest.

"aaaaaaaaaaaa"

Hyo Joo screaming, hearing that Hyun Jae becomes so strong and get away from Song and Bom. he grabs my phone

"you , if you do something to her. I'll kill you"

"sadly you can't do anything. she's your girlfriend right? then maybe I'll enjoying her" he turn off the call.

Hyun Jae going crazy. he push me to the wall. he push my shoulder so strong to the wall and makes me feel so hurt.

"who is he, I ask you now. who is he. why he kidnap Hyo Joo. Who is he?"

"Hyun Jae, please stop you hurting her" Bom and Nana try to drag Hyun Jae from me and Song try to push him away.

Hyun Jae crying

"I'm sorry. but I don't remember anything happened to me last night. I don't know what happens right now. I don't know anything. I can't do anything. and her screaming voices keeps plays in my head "

"I'm sorry Hyun Jae. it's not your fault that you act like that. but I know who he is and we need to go to police now" I hold Hyun Jae's hand

we all go to police station where I sent my report earlier. thanks to our college and street cctv footage that they analyze earlier we can track him. also cause we now know the suspect the police ready to busted him. we follow the police to some appartment. we get into 5ft floor. the soon elevator open we can see some man run, police chase him. and the other call his men that still down to close all the acces and prepare to catch some bastard.

the police manage to catch him at 4th floor stair and drag him back.

"Where is it?"

police push him to show the place he keeps Hyo Joo. he open some room, the other police enter and check the situation.

we forbid enter the room.

"call medic" the police yell

"what happened? I need to see her" Hyun jae ask and try to get in

"calm kids. we will take care of it"

Hyun Jae seems so frustrated and I feel really bad for it. cause all this happened cause of me.

after 5 minutes the paramedic arrives and bring Hyo Joo to the ambulance.

we can't see clearly what happened to Hyo Joo. we aren't allow to get into the ambulance.

we follows the ambulance to nearest hospital. Hyo Joo bring directly to ER. we just sit at waiting room. Hyun Jae's and Hyo Joo's parents also his brother and Jun also Dae sunbae comes to hospital.

"is Lee Hyo Joo parents here?"

"Yes, I'm his father "

"Let's talk about your daughter sir"

hyo joo's father and the doctor go somewhere

"Hyun Jae" Hyun Jae mom hug him

"Mom, it's my fault mom"

"no, honey. it wasn't your fault. we can't blame ourself for something we not do. it's the kidnapper who need to blame and punish"

"but this won't happened if I can protect her"

"Oh God. Hyun Jae, my baby" Hyun Jae mom hug him and his father's too. Hyun Jae's mom keep hold Hyun Jae's hand and his father talk with Hyo Joo's father.

Hyo Joo need some surgeries, he had abdominal injury also several wounds that need to stitches.

we have no idea how Hyo Joo actual condition and it's kill me. cause yes, if I wasn't go to their dorm last night I won't put anyone in danger.

"Vivi..." my parents come

"Oh my god. are you okay?"

"Yes " my mom hugs me

"what happened?" my mom ask

"Timothy " I said he's name

"what? Timothy? how? it's been long time ago?" my mom shock

"I don't have a clue mom. and dad please put him in jail for the rest of his life"

"of course dear. he will pay so much after what he did"

"Ms Vivi" police officer comes

"we need to take you for several questions"

"okay" I said

"can we accompany her?" my dad ask

"Yes Ofcourse. let's go"

"wait. I need to do something "

I run to Hyun Jae

"Hyun Jae I really sorry about what happened. we gonna trial this and press charge to him. I'll make sure he paid for what he did"

Hyun Jae not speak a word and I totally understand it.

me and my parents go to police station to make some statements. after two hour interview and doing the paper work Song call me.

"Song, how about Hyo Joo?" I said

"she finished her surgeries. she sent to the ward" Song said

"what happened with her? explain everything" I said

"so, the doctor said she might be get a punch in her stomach and her face get hit or slapped several times. she get some injuries maybe from the fight. good news doctor didn't found any sexual abuses " Song sighting

"and bad news?" I ask with a heavy feel

"she might be need to do some therapy after recovery"

I can't speak a word

"Vivi, I need to go back there. Hyun Jae needs me. come here after you finished "

Song end the call, as soon as he ends the phone I look at my mom. after all we went trough from the night until now. my worries and fear finally end but not in the way I wanted. I finally crying, so loud that people at the police station look at me. I don't care. my heart is feel so heavy and full. I just want the time turn back so anything didn't happens. I want to kill myself cause I feel so guilty.

Hyun jae sit beside Hyo Joo bed. the others is outside the room

"Alex, we're gonna back now. we'll comeback tommorow " Jun said

"okay, thank you for coming " Alex hug Jun sunbae

"we are sorry that we can't protect her" Dae said

"it's not your duty to protect her. it's mine. so don't make me feel worst" Alex said and hug Dae sunbae.

Hyun Jae's mom comes and give Hyo Joo's parents , Alex and Hyun Jae's father coffe.

"I thought the word "you will realized something important until it's gone is just a bullshit" but I'm wrong. I don't know I can feel dying when hear my daughter that I always avoided is getting tortured " Hyo Joo's father crying

"If you know how it's feel then you must grateful. cause she still here and you still had second chances" Hyun Jae's father pat Hyo Joo's father back.

"there's always rainbow after the rain" Hyun Jae's mom said.

Hyo Joo's parents back to their home to prepare Hyo Joo's needs. they will back tommorow. Hyun Jae's parents sleep at Hyun Jae's place. Alex also go home. he will come early at the morning so Hyun Jae can do his things.

Hyun jae fall asleep at his chair beside Hyo Joo bed. it's midnight, he feel something stroke his hair. he slowly open his eyes. he feel a hand touch his face and realized it's Hyo Joo's.

"Hyo Joo" Hyun Jae feel so happy

Hyo Joo just smiling

"is this a dream?"

Hyo Joo shake her head

Hyun Jae then pinch his cheeks.

"ouch, it's not a dream, it's not a dream"

Hyo Joo laughing

"can I hug you?" Hyun Jae afraid that he will hurt Hyo Joo

Hyo Joo nods

Hyun Jae hug Hyo Joo as soft as he can, he knows Hyo Joo's body feel so much pain.

"thank you" Hyo Joo said

"no, thank you Hyo Joo, for all" Hyun Jae kiss Hyo Joo forehead.

Hyun Jae sit at his chair, Hyun Jae hold Hyo Joo's hand and they talking together happily.
