Chapter 95

~~~~Earth 2,989,836~~~
Gotham city of Earth, the most advanced city in the year 2020. The large city surrounds a massive skyscraper that connects the surface of the world with an orbital island hanging high over the planet. Buildings stretched seemingly forever with every skyscraper design uniquely to its corporate or governmental masters. Dark clouds covered the city as light rain fell, which came down like a dark, disgusting wave of tainted waters that has collected the dirt and pollution from the skies and buildings. This results in a dark landscape that is illuminated only by the neon and flashing screens that batter the people beneath an onslaught of messages.
Walkway bridges connected skyscraper to skyscraper, with the ground floor being dozens of floors down. These walkways criss-cross the city and grant people mobility without descending to the streets or forcing them to rely on aerial transport. These walkways of Gotham city are as packed and crowded as the streets below and skies above. In one of these walkways, a portal opened, and Carnage walked out. The people in the street ignored the portal like it was normal and continued on their day.
Carnage inspected the city from his position. All he could see were ads. Walls are covered in billboards, screens, and holographic advertisements that blanket most of your field of vision with demands for your attention, brand loyalty, and cash.
As Carnage was about to walk forward, someone bumped into his left arm. Looking to his side, he saw a beautiful female, about 5'9", rubbing her right shoulder. She looked like a human from head to toe, but when he used his x-ray vision to check what weapons she may be holding, he found out she was fully a robot, surprising him. Her body was powered by a nuclear fusion located where the heart was supposed to be. The nuclear fusion was stronger than what Batman uses to power his Batmobile. Even the Carnage Buster can't compare.
The lady noticed Carnage staring at her, a smile appearing on her face. "Like what you see?" She asked, gesturing to her body. Which, by the way, would make most men crave taking her to bed. She was dressed in the clots of a prostitute, further emphasizing her body.
Carnage was cut off his trance and quickly responded. "No. I have no interest in your body."
"I know you do. No men can resist me." She said, grabbing onto Carnage's left arm. She suddenly stopped, slowly looking up at Carnage, her mouth wide open. "You are a fully natural human!?" She screamed, quickly covering her mouth.
They seem to gain the attention of those passing by, all of them stopping to stare at Carnage. Using his x-ray vision, he could see most of them were humans, but they all had some kind of cybernetic technology permanently grafted into their bodies.
"Hehehe. You will sell for a lot, big man." One man grinned, walking toward the duo. His body was that of a robot, with the only human thing being his brain. On his forehead was a blue skull with a golden six in the middle.
"Follow me!" She shouted. Grabbing Carnage's arm, she dashed forward, dragging him allonge with her.
"Calling all of the 6th Street gang. We will be rich boys." The man shouted, giving chase to the duo.
The lady pushed all those in her way as she jumped from one walkway to another. Carnage quietly allowed her to drag him along, seeing no point in killing those after his body. He is here to complete his mission, and that's that. As she ran, her pathway was blocked by other members of the 6th Street gang.
Not stopping, she quickly dragged Carnage into another street, continuing her run. But her path was soon blocked by more of the 6th Street gang members. Turning around, more members came to block her path. Flying cars and bikes covered the sky above them, shining light down on them.
"Let the gold go, girl." The same man said, stepping forward. His hand transformed into a raygun as he pointed it at her. "I can see you are part of the Wayne Gang. You don't want to start a gang war with us, right?"
'Wayne gang? What the fuck?' Carnage thought, looking down at the girl. 'Bruce Wayne have a gang?'
"Please. It is you who don't want to start a gang war with the Wayne." The lady said, smirking. "We all know what will happen."
Multiple roars echoed from the members as the ones on the bridge rushed forward. Seeing this, the lady frantically looked around before dragging Carnage to the side of the bridge and jumping off. Some of the members followed after, while others just watched.
Due to Carnage's little gravity field, produced by his immense mass, he slowly floated down. Those who jumped after went plummeting to the ground floor, many meters below, but some were lucky to land on other bridges.
Looking up at Carnage, who was looking around the city, a grin appeared on her face. "You will sell for even more." She murmured, "But we don't have time for this. Land us in that walkway." She shouted, pointing at a walkway.
Quietly following, Carnage punched the air, releasing a shockwave that pushed them to the bridge. They landed and the girl continued pulling him along. They descended through many stairs to the ground floor, filled with the low lives. Carnage saw a man killing a woman while others watched and did nothing. After he was done, he ripped off her hand, running away with it. Others then swarmed her, and soon, all that was left was her brain and useless parts.
"That is common on the ground floor." The lady said, noticing Carnage staring. "By the way, I never got your name."
"Rick." Carnage said while using his x-ray and telescopic vision to scan the area.
"Ok, Rick. You are my property now. Try to run, and you will get a hole blown through your head." She said, making a gun hand signal with her right hand and pointing it at his head.
Carnage paid her no mind with his attention focused on the floating Island in space. Due to only being able to sense speed force from a speedster when they are using their speed, he couldn't currently find the exact location of the speedster he is after. For someone who has changed the timeline 100 times, he must be at the top of the world right now, literally, so his best bet is getting to the island. Running is a no-go as the other will sense him, running away. Chasing A Mach 87 thousand while he can only move Mach 900 is not a smart idea. Touching him is enough to take him into the speed force for punishment, so he needs to work smarter, not faster.
"We are here. The headquarter of the Wayne Gang." the girl said, gesturing to a shop.
It was an old Cyberware shop, the neon sign hanging off the door. The sign read Barry's Clinic, in orange and yellow light.
"Barry Allan." Carnage blurted out once he saw the sign.
"You have heard of him?" The lady asked, eyeing him as she pushed open the door. "Of course you have. After all, he is the best underground Medtech. Too bad the cops are scared of angering the Wayne Gang, or else he would have long been dead."
'Who would think the Barry of this Earth will be a criminal.' Carnage thought, inspecting the shop. It was filled with robotic body parts and wires, laying around haphazardly. 'Some of these body parts are more advanced than most technology back on earth. They should have interesting technology that will be of use for me. Just have to find it.'
She led him to the front desk, where this Earth's version of Barry Allan sat, watching a holographic screen in front of his face. His body was littered with technology that would cause great shame to Batman when he sees it. Carnage suspected the energy produced from one of the four cores in his four limbs could destroy this entire city. When exploded, of course.
'Although I can't sense any speed force from him, which is the only thing putting him below Barry.' Carnage thought, still inspecting his body.
"I need to speak with the boss." The lady said, leaning on the counter. "I have something for him." She finished, gesturing to Carnage.
"Who is that?" Barry asked the holographic scream and inspecting Carnage. His eyes glowed green as he scanned Carnage. "Huh!?" He suddenly screamed, jumping back.
'Is a full human that rare? Granted that I am no human.' Carnage thought, seeing the reaction of Barry.
"Fuck. Just take him to the boss. HE will know what to do." Barry shouted, pressing a button under his table.
The flood beneath them suddenly moved down like an elevator, plundering many meters into the ground. The ground above them covered, leveling them in total darkness. Except the Lady's who was glowing green and Carnage's who was glowing red.
"Don't say anything stupid, or else you will experience pain worse than death." The lady said, looking over to Carnage.
"Hoho. Don't worry. Your boss will be very pleased to meet me." Carnage laughed, already having a plan.
"We will see about that." She muttered, just as the elevator stopped.
The door opened to into a dining area located in front of a waterfall made of lava with a man Sitting at the furthest head of the table. He looked like Bruce Wayne, just with a more sinister look and a scar that goes across his face.
Carnage also noticed that Bruce had no kind of Technology implanted in him, and was fully human. But the woman sitting beside him was equipped with the most dangerous weapons he has ever seen. Her fake, but realistic, skin hiding all of them.
"Boss, I brought something for you." The lady said, Bruce, having an uninterested look on his face. "A full, organic, human."
Bruce sat up, looking over to the woman. "Check, Diana."
"Yes... She is right." The woman is known as Diana, said, a menacing smile on her face. "It seems like our plans can move forward."
"Leave, Louis, I will award you later." Bruce waved before gesturing to the other head of the table. "Sit, big guy, we have a lot to discuss."
