Chapter 141

Impulse opened his eyes, a bright light assaulted them, causing him to raise his arm to block it. He stared motionlessly at his arm before shooting up into a sitting position and inspecting the room. It was an enormous room, dressed in purple and black color, giving it a royal feel. Across the room was a glass door leading to a balcony.

Removing the purple comforter from atop him, he stepped off the king-size bed, walking to the Balcony. As he pushed open the door, the warm sunlight hit his skin, and the light breeze blew against his face, his hair fluttering behind him. Walking to the edge of the balcony, he looked at the Senary in front of him.

The blue sky that seems to stretch on forever, a gigantic grass maze with people walking through it, trimming it, and further away was a forest with no end in sight. "It all worked all right." He mumbled, a grin growing on his face. "This is great!" He shouted, opening his arm wide and feeling all the breeze on his body.

He walked back into the house, a grin still on his face. He went straight to a mirror, looking at his reflection. He looks similar to his old appearance, albeit younger. A fare skin handsome young man with shiny gem-like golden eyes, short, neat silver hair, and wore a purple robe.

"I need to find where I am before coming up with a plan on how to survive till I return to my body." Impulse muttered, touching his reflection. "I gained no memory from the former host. I didn't even get to fight for domination against him for ownership for the new, merged soul. This body. This body! Is fucking weak. I need to redo the Kree procedure, but...it would be impossible."

Not that he isn't able to redo it, but he simply can't. The last time he performed the procedure, it was his alternative timeline self, Niles, who did it for him. Now that he is a human again, with no way to travel through dimensions to ask Niles for help, it would be impossible to do it. Beside...

"Wait..." He stopped, holding his head. "Why am I losing memories? Isn't my memories embedded in my soul? I shouldn't be losing it because of a weak body." He mumbled, gripping his head tighter. He couldn't remember the face of his original father and he was losing more memories by the seconds. "This makes no fucking sense!" Impulse shouted, punching the mirror and causing it to crack. He pressed his fist against the broken glass, blood running down his fist, but he didn't care. "Is my soul just a record for who I am and the body is what processes those records? Yeah, that makes sense. This body doesn't have enough computing power to store and process the memories, so it is forcefully deleting irrelevant ones."

The enormous double door leading to his room was suddenly pushed open, multiple maides running in. "Young Master Cassis, your hand is bleeding!" The first one shouted, running towards him.

"Do you think I am blind!?" Impulse asked, glaring at her.

"Young Master, let me--"

"Get out." Impulse, now known as Cassis, said, cutting her off. "All of you. Get Out!"

"But--"

Cassis's face contorted with rage as the stench of blood and gore, filled the room. Looking around, the maides saw the walls and floor turned into bloody flesh and an eye appear outside the balcony, staring at them. They were completely paralyzed, as their mind started playing many tricks on them, showing them millions of ways they could die right now. The smell of piss and feces joined the stench of the room as some maides fell on their knee, shaking profusely.

"I said. Get the fuck out of my room!!!" Cassis roared, his eyes glinting blood red as he pointed at the door behind them which seemed to lead to the light.

The maids were finally able to move as some bolted out of the room while others crawled out the room. Everything returned to normal as Cassis took a deep breath, controlling his body.

"Emotions. I need to get rid of them." Cassis mumbled, looking at a brown shit by his door. His face twisted in disgust as he said, "Disgusting humans."

Turning away, he decided to look through the room for anything which would give him any clue of his location. He found nothing, only jewelries, clothes, shoes, multiple pictures of himself, and other expensive things. It seems like this former owner of this body was spoiled. He donned changed into a black three-piece suit, brown dress shoes, and a dress shirt with a white collar underneath the suit. His collar and cuffs are adorned with rectangular links, and a tie bar is clipped onto his black and gray-striped tie. On his right breast pocket was a silver cross embellishment.

He left his room, making sure not to step on the feces on the way, deciding to explore the house. But as he walked down the hall, a maid walked toward him. "Young master Cassis. The Master and Mistress are waiting to meet you." The maid spoke, stepping to the side and bowing as he walked past.

"Take me to them." Cassis replied haughtily. From looking through his room, he learned the personality of the old owner. Materialistic, narcissist, and with narcissist comes arrogance. He decided to act like the former owner because if he suddenly started acting differently, the result would be disastrous. 'But, I wonder. Am I still in the DC world? There is nothing like a magic curite there, and if Solomon did merge me with a soul that has one... This is getting more dangerous. He knows nothing about this world and the memories he got from Masaru only told me what servants, masters, and the holy grail are.'

The maid walked Cassis through the maze-like corridors, to a double door with two guards guarding it. They opened it for him as he walked in, he entered a grand dining room with one long table in the middle. Two people were already seated, those he would assume is his father and mother.

His father has long silver hair and a beard that reaches his neck and a loose silver ponytail with a golden cross, tied at the end. Since he's an old man, he has many wrinkles on his face, and like Cassis, his eyes are pale blue. He wore an extravagant green robe with golden trimming.

She appears to be in her late 30s or early 40s and has wrinkles near her eyes. She has long dark blue hair tied into a braided bun, and a long strand of hair is left freely in front of either of her ears, and a tiny mole under her right eye. She has red eyes and fair skin and wears a luxurious red gown with gold embellishments, white frills, a high white collar, and a low neckline which slightly exposes her cleavage. She's wearing grand jewelry like earrings with large gemstones and gold chokers with teardrop-shaped gems.

"Have a seat, son." His father said, pointing at the seat to his left.
