LinLin waves at the boys. At last, Danial and Calvin was forced by the duo to confront the boy.

"Where's him?! That coward! Where's him? I'll strangle him."

Jason looks around LinLin but he did not see anyone0 else there.

"He'll come later, come and sit first," she ushered the rest and ignored Jason who refused to sit down.

"Hey, it's already 7.40pm. We didn't have dinner yet," Micheal grumbled.

"Oh! There 'he' is."

Everyone turns to look at the incoming person but soon stood shocked when they saw her.

"Hua'er ~~"

Micheal shouted and running towards her.

Wang Hua smiled and raise her hands to show him the dinner that she brought for them.

"Wooohooo..I really missed your cooking," he excitedly get the tote bags from her and open them to sniff on the smell.

"Woohooo..I'm salivating already. Come on, come on."

Wang Hua greets them and sit down. Micheal excitedly opens all the containers and salivating upon seeing the dishes.

"You made some Hainan dishes."

"Yes, as I don't know if any of you fond of Sichuan cuisines. Furthermore, it's dinner, so it's much better to eat more mild flavoured foods.

"We consume all, as long as it is not too spicy."

"Alright, I'll keep that in mind."

"Wait..so you're the bast..no..the one whom smash my side mirror?"

"We paid someone. It's just a prank. Your ugly face must be contorted like burnt plastic when you're angry."

"You..! That must be your idea."

"Of course..genius right?"

"You...!"

"Don't worry, we'll compensate you later. I want to eat first."

The others just dismissed the compensation as unnecessary.

"Hey, that's my bike."

"Alright then, give me your portion," Micheal stretch his hand towards Jason's rice bowl.

"Hey, don't be too greedy. This is mine."

"You eat her foods for free and still trying to get the compensation? Don't you said before you didn't want any?"

"You can afford even hundred side mirror," Calvin quipped.

"It was our fault, so -"

"I'll compensate you later Jas," Danial interjected.

"I want that limited edition side mirror," Jason shamelessly bargained.

"Sure."

"It's okay..we'll co -"

"Eat."

Danial looks up when he felt Wang Hua is staring at him. He stares intently at her, thus making her shy.

Wang Hua bows her head quickly and slowly eat.

They talked and shared with Wang Hua their activities when she did not present.

"You're really a talented cook, Hua'er," Calvin praised when they had finish eating.

"It's just so-so..you should taste my grandmother's cooking then you'll realise my cooking is nothing."

"This is not nothing, Hua'er," Micheal exclaimed.

"You can ask LinLin if you don't believe me."

Everyone turns to LinLin.

"I'm not yet taste her cooking, but her grandmother had made some of their family preserved specialties. It's soooooo yummy. But Hua'er cooking is good too."

"Really? I want to have a taste too," Micheal drooled.

"No can do. It's mine. Her grandmother made them for me. Shoo..shooo.."

Micheal sulked.

"Here guys. I just managed to buy this for everyone."

Wang Hua brought out four small square gift box and gives each of them a box.

"I chose them based on your character. Hope it suits your taste."

They open their box.

"Brooch?" Micheal perplexed.

"I'm not a lady," he continued.

"Umm..you don't like it?"

"No, no..I mean yes, I like it. It's pretty but I seldomly use accessories except watch."

"If you don't like it, give it to me," LinLin said.

"No way."

"Hey, you engrave our initial behind the brooch," Jason exclaimed.

"Yes..in case you unintentionally swap your brooch."

"Thank you, Hua'er."

Wang Hua nodded.

"That's..if you didn't want to wear them on your clothes, you could just pin it on your bag."

"Right~"

"So how's your conference?" Calvin asked.

"It's good. I've learned many things but I still need to compile the reports."

"Aren't you supposed to came back yesterday?" Danial inquired.

He can't sleep well last night. He felt worried about her. Many worse scenarios played inside his mind, thus made him afraid. Afraid if he will never saw her ever again.

He had the impulse to run and hug her tightly when she suddenly appeared before. But he just pinched his thigh just to ensure he was not dreaming. Yes, she is real. Healthy and safe. Then only he sighed in relief.

"There's something happened, thus many flight were delayed including ours."

"Oh..don't you took some pictures there?" Micheal asked.

"Ah! Yes..I do. There's some picture taken by others too."

She hurriedly unlocked her phone and opens her gallery. She pass him the phone.

"Wow..so many people. Oh? You presented on the stage too? Awesome! Woohooo..there're some beauty too. Did you get a hot hunk as your boyfriend?" Micheal jested.

Danial pursed his lips and glares at him but Micheal was oblivious to his displeasure. He excitedly scroll on the pictures.

"Wah! You do. Tell me, tell me..what's his name?"

He pointed at a picture.

Danial snatched the phone and looks at the photo. Anger bubbling inside him.
