But in 2044, Lucid Dreams became another fabric of reality when a famous VR game developer invents what's called the Lucid Dream Server— a Server that can tap into anyone's head and enable them to play a VRMMORPG in their lucid dreams! 

Sakurai Yuuta, who has been blind for two years, was given a chance to be a beta tester of the game. But when 'game bugs' started to appear and mess with the game and the real world, The fine line between dreams and reality became muddled, and it's up to him to discover the secrets that lies behind the Lucid Dream Server.

Lucid Dream Server

"Ma'am, I'm sorry but I'm just curious, do you play the Lucid Dream Server?" Yuuta asked out of the blue.

The lady's pupils dilated as she slightly shifted from one side of her seat to another as if she was getting uncomfortable. She averted her gaze from Yuuta and tried to drink the coffee she ordered, not speaking at all. Yuuta wondered why the lady couldn't answer such a simple question and so he went back to his seat and maintained eye contact with the lady.

"Um... I'm... " She stammered before clearing her throat.

Wondering why the lady was acting weirdly, Daisuke also returned to his seat, thinking that Yuuta finally got an unexpected led regarding the case of the mysterious murders. Or maybe Yuuta had already gotten a lead long before and he just didn't tell him about it. That's why Daisuke's curiosity was piqued, trying to figure out where Yuuta was getting at.
