It was a peaceful day with blue skies and not a cloud in sight. The birds were singing, their beautiful song finding their way to anyone in range. Marion loved days like this.

She sat upon the old wooden porch of her family home. The sun was at her back and endless fields of emerald grass at her front. The picturesque scene, seemed eternal, unending. At least, until the screaming started.

Marion looked around with a startled expression. What was happening? Who was screaming? She looked and looked but no one appeared. That was when she looked up.

Far up in the air, a black dot was slowly growing larger. The shrill screaming seemed to originate from there. Marion was panicked. What could she do?! It seemed a monster was approaching her home. However it was no monster. No, when she looked closer it was... A person?

"Shit shit shit!!" The figure screamed, the feminine voice panicked and frustrated. "SLOW!!" They screamed and as if they were commanding reality itself, their fall slowed to halt 10 meters above the ground. Unfortunately, they hadn't said levitate.

So the figure fell the last 10 meters. With a loud bang and crack the person, or creature, slammed into the ground at high speed. Luckily they had slowed their fall, otherwise they'd been turned to paste on impact.

Shocked and confused Marion ran off of the porch. She dashed to the figure, seemingly worried about their state. She approached the crash site, and the image of a young girl came into her view. There was a small crater around her, showing just how hard she'd hit the ground and yet she only had minor injuries.

Somehow, as if by a miracle, the girl only had a broken arm and a few cuts and scrapes. As one can assume, this young girl, is our dear protagonist. Wait.... This writing style seems off.

"Huh? what writing style?" Shit she heard us, scatter!

"What?" Marion said hesitantly, clearly not hearing what the young girl said. "Nothing..." The young girl said. Phew, she almost caught us!

"Could you tell me your name deary?" Marion asked after making sure the girl had no life threatening injuries. "My name? Oh my name was.... Wait what is my name?" A look of panic and confusion overtook her face. "I-I can't remember?!" She almost screamed.

She put her hands on her temples, only to yelp in pain as she moved her shattered right arm. "AHH !" Her pained cry startled Marion for only a moment before she bolted forward. She gently grabbed the girls forearm, preventing her from moving it.

Ignoring the grip on her arm, the young girl began to hyperventilate as she thought about the situation. 'I remember what happened. I remember everything. I should be dead. He killed me! But why cant i remember my name? Who am I? Where am I!? Who is this girl? Why was I in the sky?!' Her thoughts were scattered and unorganized as they leaped from topic to topic.

However, she was snapped out of her thoughts and panic by a painful squeeze on her arm. "Calm down deary!" Marion said with a resolute tone, hoping to project confidence and security despite her own confusion.

Unfortunately she was immediately saw through, however her goal of calming down the girl was still accomplished. She looked over to Marion with eyes with only a hint of the panic of before.

Being looked upon by the dark red eyes was nerve wracking for Marion. It was as if a beast was looking upon her. Yet that feeling disappeared as the Red-Eyed girl coughed, sending droplets of blood to the ground in front of her.

"Shit..." She said quietly, aware of how dire her injuries were despite appearing outwardly fine. "You..." she said to Marion. "Could you help me up? I need to treat these." Her panic was gone, or rather, it was set aside. All that was left in her eyes was a cold and analyzing gleam as she gazed at her perfect outward appearance.

"huh? oh! ah! Yes sorry!" Marion said after realizing what she had been asked. She gently grabbed onto the girls other hand as well and slowly pulled her to her feet. "Ah right! I'm Marion, but that's not important lets get you inside!" Marion ever so slowly led the girl to her family's cottage not even 20 meters away.

Ascending the stairs proved to be a problem for the wounded girl. However the duo quickly overcame the obstacle and Marion had her sit down upon a bed to the left of the door. The cottage was old, very old from what she'd observed. The wood creaked everywhere Marion stepped, and step she did.

She darted across the cottage, taking bottles, cups, bandages and a piece of thin wood from around the house before settling in front of the girl. She held out her hand, silently asking or her arm.

And so she began the quick wrapping of her broken arm alongside giving her a splint before moving on to her cuts. Both the girls stayed quiet as mice during the quick treatment. However their silence was for two different reasons. One was focused on her task of helping the girl. And the other was thinking about what the hell was going on.

'It doesn't make sense. I should be dead through and through and yet here I am.' The Red-eyed girl rose her uninjured hand to gaze upon it. 'And these aren't my hands'

There was no injury on her left hand. However there were many callouses and the skin was tough, likely the result of training with a weapon. 'I never trained with weapons... I only ever used magic and hand to hand.'

Once again however, Marion broke her contemplations. "Alright, I've done about all I can for your outward injuries." Those words elicited a look of mild surprise from the girl. 'She knows i have internal injuries? She's good...' Yet she didn't convey her thoughts, and instead simply expressed her thanks.

"No need to thank me, just doing my duty as a nurse!" Marion smiled. Her blonde hair and green eyes seemed to shine with that smile. The girl smiled along with her. The Red eyes and Black hair combined with her pale skin seemed to illuminate the room, which was only made worse by the smile.

"So you're a nurse?" The girl asked. "That I am, but before we talk about me could you tell me about yourself. Perhaps maybe why you fell out of the sky or what you were freaking out about earlier?" She asked, deciding not to mention the girl's name to not start her panic again.

"Oh uh, I'm truthfully not aware as to why I was in the sky." She made a neutral face to hide her mild embarrassment at the strange sentence. However the laugh she expected from Marion never came, instead it seemed the girl took everything she said extremely seriously.

"I see. Do you mind telling me what you were Panicking over? I'd like to help if I can." She said with sympathy. "Well.... I don't remember my name. I shouldn't be here in the first place. This isn't my body. And I feel incredibly weak compared to my memories." She said with a straight face.

"I see..." Marion nodded, taking a moment to assimilate the knowledge. "Well, Perhaps try simply checking your SDA Display for your name?" Marion said.

"SDA Display...? What's that?" With that question a look of confusion overcame Marion. However before the girl could ask another question Marion's eyes widened and she backed away quickly.

"Are you one of the Fallen!?" She asked with panic settling in her tone. "What is a fallen?" The girl asked with confusion. She was confounded about the situation and specifically the series of event that led to it.

First she falls from the sky after dying. Then she gets treated by a nurse who stumbled upon her and cant remember her name. Then she realizes she's not in her normal body. Then the nurse mentions something about the SDA that she didn't know about, and then she gets called a fallen. whatever that is. What a strange situation she's in!
