An Outsider's Perspective

Sarah woke up early. She had some office work to handle. Since there was a second case, she was still needed in the court.

She looked at the man whose arms were wrapped protectively around her. A sad smile formed on her lips. She couldn't begin to imagine how much pressure was placed on her man's shoulders.

Although she wasn't part of the family, she had witnessed the mess going on. To be fair, she knew first-hand how mean their mother could be. She had a first-hand experience with her sharp tongue.

Even as an outsider, knowing the truth didn't change her opinion of the Queen. Maybe she was wrong for holding on to the initial impression.

She could sympathise with the woman for her current state, but she couldn't see herself changing her attitude. This was because the woman never gave her any reason to.
