"What the fuck did you send over, Nicky?" Laurie is screaming over the phone at six fucking  o'clock in the morning.

"It has a note. And I believe that the message was clear." the name Nicky answered.

"Well that's exactly, why I am asking!"  she exclaimed angrily, glaring at the innocently looking red leather pill box, that is instantly recognizable as a famous jewelry brand, sitting on her kitchen counter, with a note that says - I heard you cry over a guy, here's a small gift to let you know that I'd marry you anytime.

With the familiar scrawling penmanship in the white piece of paper, she would know who sent her the note, even without calling the guy on the phone.

"Fuck, man, where have you been?" Yuki, the bassist of their band met him at the door of the studio.

"Had to run some errand," he mumbled as he entered the small basement recording studio. They were supposed to record at a different studio but the boss of the recording company that wanted to sign them wanted them to be in this studio.

They have been huddled in this small studio for about a week now. Recording their new album whenever they are free. Other than this album that would be signed on a record label, they were also recording some songs that would be released as an independent album.

The band wanted this record deal because it was the only company that agreed to his terms. Which was very unusual for any artist. To keep recording and producing independent music while releasing albums in a huge record company.
