You Aren't Going Anywhere

"I see," January nodded as if what Atlas said was nothing but a comment on the weather forecast. 

"I don't think you see or understand what you did," he said in an annoyed tone. "Or you simply don't care and you even dragged your friend." 

January jerked up from the bed once again, "don't question what I think or understand. And more importantly, don't drag Laurie on it." 

As he stood up from sitting down on the edge of the bed, he said, "All I'm saying is that it's dangerous." He began pacing the room. Occasionally, he would run his fingers over his hair, clearly frustrated.

"I heard you the first time. And thank you for taking us out of the club even though we don't feel that was necessary," she glanced at Laurie. Her eyes were questioning her if she agreed with what she said.
