"What the fuck did you send over, Nicky?" Laurie is screaming over the phone at six fucking  o'clock in the morning.

"It has a note. And I believe that the message was clear." the name Nicky answered.

"Well that's exactly, why I am asking!"  she exclaimed angrily, glaring at the innocently looking red leather pill box, that is instantly recognizable as a famous jewelry brand, sitting on her kitchen counter, with a note that says - I heard you cry over a guy, here's a small gift to let you know that I'd marry you anytime.

With the familiar scrawling penmanship in the white piece of paper, she would know who sent her the note, even without calling the guy on the phone.

"Are you maltreating your helper?" She asked in perfect Nihongo as soon as Mei Mei met her in the foyer, to the surprise of the woman who fetched her from the lobby.

"Arisa-san, what happened?" She asked with knitted brows.

Hearing the question from her mistress, Arisa-san quack like a duck for no words came out of her mouth, agape, in shock with the fact that the foreign guest of her employer can speak fluent Japanese.

She quickly explained that she was scared that the guest couldn't understand her. She apologized and Mei Mei admonished her and sent her to the kitchen to get them something to eat.

Laurie chuckled lightly, surveying the house and seeing that the interior design of the house was more modern minimalist. A tea room seemed to be out of place in this house. "You can't give up your tea room?" She commented when they entered the said room with an amazing cityscape.
