For Eternity

"Do you think it's fine?"

Jiro stood behind her with his arms circling her lower abdomen. They were standing on the shoreline, watching the sunset. They were still wearing the clothes that they wore at their wedding ceremony that just finished a few hours ago.

They wanted the wedding to be intimate. To be attended by just their friends and family. However, even with just their family and friends, the attendees still reached more than fifty people. Not really a small gathering but with how big her family and lots of friends along the way, a lot was still present to witness their wedding.

"What do you mean?" She lifted her left hand and the diamond on her new wedding ring was hit by the afternoon sun. A smile broke from her lips, seeing her wedding ring.

"Your mom. The wedding was rushed and it wasn't a grand wedding." He tucked her head under his chin and embraced her tighter. He still couldn't believe that this woman in his arms is now his wife.
