Petitioners

Sael watched the badger standing on two legs holding a large leaf folded into the shape of a hat fidget. He was starting to get the hang of this whole petitioner thing. For the last few hours, various creatures had walked in, most of them seeming normal animals just far smarter. Some like the badger had human traits, it walked on hind legs and wore a hat though it took it off the moment it entered the throne room. The badger had just finished explaining the complaints of the various animals and fae living in the Shade Tree woods. It was the same complaint all the others had brought forth so far, humans. In their case logging was destroying much of the Shade Tree woods. "Ok, um Kipper? If you will give me a moment to converse with my aids."

The badger bobbed its head repeatedly as it backed out of the throne room. "Yes Lord Yes Yes Kipper will wait outside. Yes Yes Yes." Finally, the little creature shuffled backward out of the throne room.
