Sael sat on his throne, his chin resting on his fist as he watched the blue green forest of evergreen trees rolling along below. Normally the beauty of the world seen from the flying castle was something he found enthralling. But now the sea of trees rolling by inspired nothing in him. For days now they hadn't even landed the castle to take in petitioners. Not even the temptation of quests given by petitioners or the excitement of closing in on the big level ten could get him to divert his course. He was tired of playing games, he would find this moon clan, and only then would he divert his efforts to find a new lead.
"I have brought you something to drink, my king."
Sael lifted his chin from his fist to glance over at Shel as she carried over a goblet style glass. He gave her a small nod and sipped the spiced wine while staring out beyond the balcony. "I miss soda."
