Sael looked around at the destruction caused by his Shadow yet again. Corpses lay cleaved apart, their wounds neither bleeding nor charred but instead almost a pristine glass cut that defied logic. The stone floor around him was torn up, a huge chunk of it missing and no signs of Demon Lord Metti. Sael wasn't unconscious this time. Instead, he was simply trapped in the void watching what happened outside through a fuzzy view in the far distance. Like a movie projection against clouds in the sky, grainy and difficult to make out things. The fact that it was a first person view and instead of well choreographed scenes it was rapid and chaotic. Was that how the Shadow saw the world?
