Another Pyre

Just like after the last visit from the insane video game obsessed incarnation things exploded into a flurry of activity.  Sael absorbed the last two seeds, felt a shiver run through the very core of his being, and for a few brief but terrifying seconds wondered if he had made a mistake.  Then the Shadow simply acknowledged that he had them.  He wondered if his other half felt his surge of relief when he didn't try and take over their shared body.

His next step was to deal with the Maelstrom. Or that was the original plan. The Shadow had other plans.  They wanted to leave it until tomorrow's fight with the Incarnation.  Sael didn't even mention the fact the Shadow assumed they would end up fighting the Incarnation, mostly because he felt the same way.  Even an Incarnation should have problems if they were say punted into a Maelstrom.  If things started to look like they were going to go critical before then they would deal with it.
