Chapter 13: Bringing my past with me (2)

After breakfast, I still had some time to call my brother. So Tony took me to the Elders office. "Thanks. Could you wait for me out here?" "Yeah sure." "Elder sir? I have something important to tell my brother. It's a matter of life and death. I can't tell anyone else." "Ok Raven. I will take you to my office, and you can call him. Just let me get something out of there first and you can talk." So I followed the elder into his office he got the thing he needed and locked the door to call Jason. "Hey Jason. Its Raven. No time for small talk. Its urgent. Are you alone?" "No hang on let me go to my room." So he went to his room and locked the door. "Ok Raven what's wrong?" " I don't know how to say it so I will just spit it out. They found me. My past finally caught up. The people who were after me when I was younger found out I was still alive. When I called you last time I was in the infirmary. I almost died. They stabbed me and I lost a lot of blood." He sort of whispered yelled so no one could hear him. "What the Hell Raven! Are you ok?" "Yes I am fine now. I just got out. Can dad know anything or are you suspicious of him?" "NO I can trust the king queen and siblings. I can also trust Koa and Akela. Not so sure about anyone else so I will be careful. I know a couple guys there. Who I can call. I will have them meet you ok?" "All right. I will be free tonight. I usually on the training grounds then alone. I guess that's not good right now considering what's going on right now." "Ok I'll have them meet you in the Elders office ok? I'm sure the elder will let you know when they arrive." "Ok brother. I have to go to training now. I'll call you when I can and give you an update or I am sure they will. Love you brother." "Love you too little sis. Be careful." "I will do my best." Then I hung up and told the Elder thank you and headed toward the training field. The only time we use the dojo is when it rains.

'Good I made it just in time.' I thought. "Hey Zoro." "Oh hey Raven. Good timing. You can spar with Nikita for a bit. I told her to start at a slow pace since you just got out. Then work her way up." "Thanks Master Zoro." "Ok ready Raven?" I got my sword and nodded. Then we started sparing.

I was doing pretty good we even got to speed up to her pace which is medium pace. When I started to go faster Zoro saw me and said, "Woah now Raven. Lets wait for faster you just got out of the infirmary." I sighed. "Fine." Then I went back to medium pace.

Training was finally over. I was stopped by Zoro. "Raven. Nikita come here please." 'Both of us?' I thought curiously. "What is it Zoro? Did we do something wrong?" I said. "Well first I wanted to tell you to wait to speed up after a day or two. I actually wanted to congratulate on how good you guys fight together. Maybe when you are better you can teach Nikita here to go a little faster." "Thank you master Zoro." I said. "Ok now go to your next class you don't want to be late." So we ran to our next class.

I sat through another boring lecture and watched the others on how far they have come since getting here. I would be doing my private lessons after lunch. After class it was time to chill until lunchtime. "Hey Nikita? Do you happen to know when visiting days are?" "Yeah They are once or twice a month why?" "I thought so. Dammit! Oh sorry about that. I have something going on right now. In a day or two I'm supposed to be going on a mission with Tony." "Yeah I heard. I just didn't hear what kind." "I don' t know myself until we talk about it." We hung out until it was lunchtime.

I quickly ate my lunch and met the guards and my teacher Mrs. Shepard in a field. "Oh good your finally here." Said one of the guards. "My name is Zeke" Then the other guard who spoke to me said, "My name is Akuza. Like I said your finally here." "Sorry if I was a little late." "Oh you were right on time Raven." Said Zeke. "Akuza just like's people here about 5 minutes early." "I will try to make him happy next time then." "We are wearing this protective gear in case you go out of control. Mrs. Shepard told us why you wanted to do private training." Said Akuza. I nodded. "OK lets see what you got Raven." Said Zeke. I nervously turned dragon and both my colors showed. "No way." Said Akuza and Zeke in unison. Mrs. Shepard was surprised too. We still did our training though. They did a few tests with me and during our training I went out of control. We were close to being done at that time. "Woah Raven. Calm down now. Training is done. Breathe." Said Zeke. I started to calm down then when I turned human, I was weak. I fell to m knees. The guards rushed to my side to see if I was ok. "I-I'm fine. Just a little weak in the knees." I said. "No your not. I have see this before." Said Akuza. "You are weak everywhere. Its to be expected in everyone." Then Zeke spoke. "I see you are a rare type of dragon. Are you by any chance royalty?" "I'm sorry. I can't say even if I was." "Its fine. You just met us after all. You shouldn't trust strangers."

I went back to my dorm with Nikita and chilled with her until it was dinner time. I got a summons from the Elder and I said, "Ok Meet me at the dinner table. I'll be there soon." "Ok see you there Raven." So, I brisk walked over to the Elders.

"Hey Elder. Where are they?" "They are in the conference room. Go ahead." "OK Thank you." I went to the conference room, and saw two guys. "Hello there Raven." "Oh its you two. I thought you were at the palace? Oh I guess my brother did say you were here." "Yeah we got here yesterday." "Oh ok. Its good to know its you two who will be watching over me. Did my brother say to keep a safe distance so no one gets suspicious?" "Yes he did mention that. So your past finally caught up huh?" "Yeah I don't know the leaders name, but he did sound familiar. When I heard him say a name and whisper in my ear, I knew for sure I have heard it. I just don't know where. I can tell you the name he called out was Zuku." "Shit! What did they say about what they were doing there?" "They said they were hired to find the princess. I told them even if I did know her I couldn't tell them unless I knew more info. That's when I fought and got stabbed. Then he said, let this be a lesson for next time we meet. I have a feeling they are going to try on visiting days. My boyfriend and brother are coming the first day." "Raven breathe." "I know. I just can't loose anyone close to me. I don't know what will happen to me. If I will even be able to stay in control." "Your brother Jason has already took that into consideration." "Ok well I can't stay long. I told my roommate I would be there soon." "Ok Raven try to stay safe." "Yes I will." So I hurried to the dinner room.

"Sorry I took a little bit." "Its fine. I got your dinner for you." "Oh thanks." She waited until I ate my dinner, then we headed to our room.

Once I made sure she was asleep, I tried to sneak out. I heard one of the guards say, "Just where do you think you are going Raven?" "Sorry. I have some business with someone tonight. Its really important. I have to be alone for this." "You know we can't do that" "I'm sorry to have to do this to you guys." I blew some sleeping powder in their face and ran off.

I finally made to the training field. "Ok I am here! What do you want?!" The leader jumped down and said, "You know what we want. We want the princess." 'I hate to do this but it has to be done.' "OK you have got her. Take me wherever the one who hired you is." "It will be our pleasure." "No one touch me. I will follow don't worry. I don't want anyone else involved." So I followed them where they went.

The guards finally woke up and one of them said, "Damn that girl! We should split up and look for her. If we can't find her by morning, we have to tell the elder and call her brother." "I hate to say this but I agree with you." So they split up and looked for her.

"Ok since no one is looking now or close by who are you and who hired you?" "I'm not a liberty to say. I can't even tell you where you are going." "You will know soon enough."

It was morning and they still hadn't found her. They rushed to tell the Elder what happened, and he said, "Where is Tony?! Bring him here. Now!" The elder yelled. The guards knew who Tony was from the time he was at the palace. They finally found him. "Tony! Its urgent! Raven it missing! The Elder needs to talk to you probably about a mission to find her." "On it!" He rushed over to the Elder.

"I'm here Elder. I just heard." "Yes last night Raven went missing. She blew sleeping powder in the guards face." "Oh brother. I know where she is. You two stay here in case she shows up. I just hope they aren't hurting her." Tony ran over to the beach area.

The leader got a phone call. "Hello? Yes master I will." Then he hung up. "OK he told me to take off my mask." The guy took his mask off and revealed who he was. "You! I think you were on the ship that wrecked when I was little." "Yes very good memory. Unlike your parents." "What? What are you talking about?" "Oh nothing you will find out one of these days." Then the leader shouted "Sail away!" So the captain did that then I heard someone jump on the ship.

"I swear. If you hurt her, you are dead!" said Tony. "Its Tony! I have to get out of here!" I twisted my robes on my feet and got out of it. I heard a gun pointing at Tony. I jumped in front of him and got shot but the bullet went through and I splashed into the deep water. The last thing I saw was Tony diving down to save me."

Tony got her to shore. He made sure the bullet was out and stopped her bleeding. He also made sure she was breathing which she wasn't so he did some compressions and mouth to mouth. She finally coughed out water and passed back out. Tony blew a horn to let someone know she was there.
