Chapter 29: The mysterious place

"Ok kids here is the house." Raven knocked on the door. (Knock Knock) "Hey Raven. Hey Kids. Oh Koa too. Come on in. OK I will show you to your rooms. I hope they are you your liking. Your clothes are in the closet and dressers. Akela showed the kids to their rooms.

First he showed Keeva. "Woah pretty." "Yeah it sure is Keeva. Why don't you look in your closet and dressers?" I said. She ran to do that and said, "How did you know what I liked? Did mom or dad tell you?" "Haha Yeah your father told me." "Thanks dad. I love you." "Haha I love you too kiddo." Then he went to the room for the boys that they would share. Ciel opened the door and said "Its pretty cool. Where is the other bed?" Akela went to one of the beds and pulled another bed like a drawer out of it. This is for the twins your bed is the other one over there." He looked in the closet as well then in his drawers. "Pretty cool. Thanks man." Ciel gave Akela a fist bump. The twins got excited and started jumping on the bed. "Ok you two be careful don't hurt yourself." I said. They jumped down and hugged me. "OK kids. I love you too. Your father will be coming over to check on you once in awhile. It would be suspicious if I came. Plus I have some business." "Ok mom. I hope this doesn't take too long. We miss you." Said Keeva. "I know kids. I miss you all too. She gave them all a group hug and kissed the twins head. I ruffled Ciel's hair and hugged Keeva. "Ok kids I'm off. Your father has to leave too." "See you later when I check on you Ok?" "Yes father." Said Ciel. "I will protect them." "I know you will." The kids went out of their room and walked to the door.

"Bye mom and dad. Be careful." Said Ciel. "We will try." Said Koa. "Akela? Take care of our kids. Do whatever you can to protect them." "Yeah they are my niece and Nephews. Of course I will protect them." I said. I patted his shoulder and said, "I know you will." So we left.

"Once we get to the castle, I need to make a phone call then leave Koa." "That soon huh?" "Yeah as long as I am there the kids should be safe." "Well ok then you should say goodbye to the king and queen." "Yeah that's the plan."

Raven went to her room and made the phone call. "Is this the boss?" I said. "I will get him hold on." Said a follower. "Hello Raven. Am I guessing you are going to come over her?" Said the boss. "Yes I am. I have a few short things to do and I will fly over there. You should expect me there tomorrow night." "Ah that's good. OK then see you there." Then we hung up. (sigh)

"Hey honey. Did you make your call?" "Yeah Koa I did. After I talk to mom and dad and say my goodbyes I have to leave. I told him I would be there tomorrow night I would have to leave soon. Lets go to my dad. At this time he should be in his office." So we headed for the kings office.

"We need to see the king." "Yes sir." "Your majesty? Its princess Raven and Koa." "Let then in." "Hello father. I have something to talk to you about and I can't stay long. I need you mom and my siblings to all meet up. I have a dangerous misson I must go on." "OK I will go get them right now." "Oh father? We will meet in the parlor. Its shorter to get to the door." "OK Raven." So we went to the parlor to wait. I kept looking at the time.

Finally the king, queen and my sliblings came in. "Hello. Sorry to call you all away from your business. I'm not sure how long I will be gone, but I wanted to say goodbye. It's a secret mission. Do what you can to help out the Raven clan ok? They are watching our kids." I gave each of my siblings a hug and gave them encouraging words. Then I went to father and stepmother. I gave them a hug. "I love you both. I will miss you all. I will miss you too Koa." I have him a big hug and kissed his cheek. "Take care of the kids ok?" "Yes Raven I will." "OK I better go before it gets too late." I went outside and everyone followed. I turned into my dragon form and they saw me off. I Flew away. They watched her until she was out of site.

The following night I had finally got there as promised. "Your boss is expecting me." "We will guide you to him." Said a follower. They guided me to a strange door I have never seen before. "Huh. Weird but ok." "Boss she's here." "Bring her in." "Wow. I didn't think you would be such a beauty. Ok you two may go back to your post." "Yes sir." "It's a good thing you came. I would have eventually found the kids and brought them here by force if you didn't come." "yeah I know. That's why I came. Were you the ones that shot the sleeping arrow at me?" "That was an accident. One of our subordinates were trying to shoot something else and his hand slipped. As for last time you were shot, that was a warning one. That you need to come here." "Well now I am here. What do you want from me?" "Follow me. I Have something to show you." I followed him to a bunch of rooms where people were staying. "What is this? Who are they?" "All will be revealed in time. Ok here we are." "Tony? Kane? What are you doing to them? You better not kill them or you will regret it!" "Woah slow down there Raven. Take a breather. I would hurt old friends. Plus I wouldn't hurt your kids anyway that was a threat to get you here." "Well it worked. Now what is happening to them?" "They wanted to test something out in their dragon form. They are doing what they wanted." "Oh brother. I know how tony is. As for Kane knowing what Jason told me about he is just as bad. So what about the others we passed by here?" "Oh them. They were traitors who were locked up. They killed people recklessly" "I see. So what do you do with them?" "Oh when we have experiments they are our lab rats." "Ha at least they get what they deserve." "You are never mind." "So that arrow that was meant for my son you are saying was an accident right?" "Yes like I told you his hand slipped is what they told me and luckily your son was ok because you protected him right?" "Well yeah my shoulder still hasn't healed. Its still wrapped up." "Ok good looks like they are almost done. Then you and the other two can talk. Come to me when you are finished." "Yeah whatever."

I saw Kane and Tony walking out of the room they were just in. "Hello boys." I said. They looked shocked to see me. "What are you doing here Raven?" "Well according to your boss he said he was going to hurt my kids if I didn't come here. He said it was only a threat and wouldn't do it he just wanted me here. Do you know anything about this? Plus what the hell were you doing there anyway? Looks like you were being tortured." "Yeah I guess it would seem like that from the outside. This is the type of work we were doing. We offered our assistance for some experiments." Said Kane. "It was more of how they explained them that got us interested." "Well whatever. I was never told why I was here. Just to follow and I found you two doing whatever the hell it was you were doing. The boss said to come to him after I talked to you. What do you think he wants from me?" "We don't know. We didn't even know he wanted you here for anything." Said Kane. "Well you two want to come along when I go back to see the boss?" They agreed so we walked back to the boss.

"I'm back. I also have Kane and Tony with me." "Come in all of you." So we went in and sat down. "Did you boys tell her what you were doing?" "Yeah we did. She didn't seem to care more than that we came wondering why you even wanted her here." "Ah yes that. I wanted her to prove she was a dragon. If so what kind? What are her powers?" "Woah if that is all you wanted, why not just find a way to contact me instead of threatening my kids?" "Well I'll remember that next time. So will you show me your form and power or powers?" "I don't care where shall I do it? Guys you come too." "Ok Raven." Said Tony. So we headed outside to a lighted area since it was dark. "Ok I have to warn you. I have two forms. Three if you count my confused one. I only have 2 powers." "Ok go ahead." I turned my red form first and blew my red fire and coughed up smoke. Then I did my blue dragon form and blew ice. Then finally my confused form with a mixture of my red and blue. Then I turned human and said, "Well that's all my forms." "You are one of the rare type huh?" "That's weird that's what the people on the island told me." "You mean dragon island right?" "Yeah only a dragon can get there." "I was actually curious if it existed. So it does." "Yeah its full of young people learning to control their dragon urges. They are all there for their own reason. There is a man named Zoro there who was my instructor and the elder. I wonder how he is doing now?" "Zoro huh? Glad to see he's doing well." "You know him?" "Yeah well apparently he though I died. I am his little brother. Our parents did die though. I buried them in the cemetery where we used to live." "What is your name may I ask?" "Oh sorry its Dalton. Dolton jr. My brother gave me a nick name I hated. It was DJ. Yes I think they are cool. When I was younger, I hated that name. If he needed proof tell him DJ. Is alive." "Will you see your brother if he came to the castle?" "I don't know. I haven't seen him since the incident. I guess I will try." "Well I told him I am on a mission. If its over by the time visitation week comes, I will call him and invite him over." "How long do I have to stay here? Oh sorry. Just one night. I needed to see for myself. I promise you my men will not lay a finger on your kids. If someone else does I will find them and Kill them myself. Here is a phone. The next morning I got up and my shoulder felt strangely better. I saw that my shoulder didn't have the bandage on it anymore. I moved it around and felt fine. I got up and put my hair in a ponytail and headed out of my room. I found boss sitting in his office. "Hey Boss." "Oh hey Raven what's up?" "You know what's up. My arm." "Oh that. Tony did that. He knew your arm was hurt and wanted to heal you." "He didn't need to do that. I would have healed just fine. Anyway I better head home. Would it be safe to take my kids out of hiding?" "Yes I would suggest you have at least 2 guards on the boys. 2guards on your daughter. Just in case." "Thank you sir. I will head back now. Oh and tell the others if they don't see me off that I will see them again if they come to the castle ok?" "Yes maam." So I went outside without seeing them and flew off.

I stopped by the forest first to test out if it was safe. "Ah I love this fresh air in the morning especially in this forest. Well nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. I guess I will let them play here as long as they have someone with them at all times." Then I flew back home to the gate.

"Ah home sweet home. Hello men. Good to see you again." "Oh Raven your back." "Yeah I'm back. I'll see you guys later." I walked up to the castle doors and took a deep breath. I went inside the doors and saw Koa sitting down looking exhausted. "Hey Koa. I'm back." "Hey Raven. I would jump for joy but I have been working my but off lately. How is everything?" "Its all taken care of. Why don't I talk to you when you are more awake. Lets get you to bed." "Yeah good idea. I think if I do anymore I will pass out." "Hehe now we are reversed." I got his arm and headed to our room. "Here we are honey. Lets get you to bed. I loosened up his clothes and took off his shirt. Then I covered him up. "So why are you so exhausted? I know checking up on the kids hasn't done it." "No its not that. I have been helping out at both clans. Going back and forth for random reasons." "Hehe that used to be my job. I guess they got you since you are my husband huh?" "Well its not the first time. I did this sort of stuff when I was younger. They knew I was experienced." "I will stay with you until you fall asleep. I need to talk with my family about what I am going to tell you." "Thanks Raven." I held his hand and not long he fell asleep. I kissed him on the head and left. "If you hear anything I mean anything you rush in to see what's up ok? Unless its someone we know." "Yes maam." "Ok now to find father. Its still early, so he should be in the breakfast room"

"I knew it. Hello father." "Oh Raven. I see your back." "Yes father I am. When you are all finished I would like to talk to you about something important." "Yes Raven." I sat down and ate as well.

Once breakfast was done, we headed to father's office. "What is it Raven?" said father. "Well my business went ok. I was told just in case to put an extra guard on the boys and Keeva. Just to be safe. They would be free to come home on that condition. I may end up having to do some more business, but at least the kids should be ok. I haven't told Koa. I put him to bed he looked tired. He told me his situation. Tomorrow I plan on picking the kids up. I will be having to stop by the blue phoenix clan and tell them I can't go on missions for awhile. I will let them know when I can."
