Chapter 36: Helping out an old friend

We finally made it to the Organization. "Ok Boys follow me. Hello guards nice to see you again." I said to the two guards standing there. "Go on in Raven. Your guards can too." "Why thank you kind sirs." I acted all cute with them. We went inside and I did the same thing with the other guards. They told me to wait in a certain room.

Finally after 10 minutes the people we have been waiting for showed up. "Nikita and Dimitri. How did you like the show you put on for them?" "Was not exactly how we pictured it. You went a little wilder than we expected." Said Dimitri. "So before I do what you say, what is it exactly you were going to do on the table to me?" I said. "Oh you mean when we were going to force you on the table? We were just going to put you asleep and experiment a little on you." "I'm used to it. Before you do, what is it exactly you are looking for in a dragon? I may be able to help if I know what you are looking for." "A cure." "A cure for what?" "Nikita show her. She might know something." Nikita put down her hood and she looked awful and pale. "When did she end up like this?" "She has been like this For almost a year now. As for the other times we tried to capture you we figured those out already." "I have seen something like this before. I remember one time I was about 10 years old and I was captured. I was having more signs of becoming a dragon at that point. The same look as she had. I know how to cure it. Apparently I do have special blood. Before I do though what are your other symptoms?" "Well she is up now but she has been weak, off and on fever not being able to sleep very good. At times shortness of breath." "Yep that about sums it up. Its exactly what I remember the symptoms being. (sigh) Ok here is the deal. First we have test out how she will react to my blood. If I give it to her all at once and she has a bad reaction it could mean danger for her and others around. If she only has a drop, and it is bad it will only danger her. That is why we test. So after hearing that do you still want me to help?" I looked at Nikita then Dimitri. "Well even if it doesn't work she would only have a few more months to live unless you can find something else to cure her." "Lets do it Raven. As you said she will be dead anyway in a few months even if it doesn't so she has nothing to lose." Said Dimitri.

"Ok then where should we do this?" I said. Tony whispered in my ear. "Raven are you sure you want to do this?" "I agree with Tony. It could mean danger." Said Zoro. "I will be fine guys. Like I said I am used to it." I whispered back to them. "Ok lets go."

I followed them to the same room that I was in before I escaped. "Tjhis room again huh? Ok so what they did before is get a tube full of my blood. Those little tubes. So draw my blood like normal." "Ok Ravem." Said Dimitri. He has had experience doing it in the past.

I held out my arm and he put the needle in and I flinched a little. "I will never get used to needles. They are a pain in the ass." Then he got a tube and the blood went into it. They took the needle out and covered where they but the needle so blood won't ooze out. "I would suggest before you do it to her, to get some of her blood and see how it reacts. If it bubbles or reacts in any way then it won't work. If it doesn't do anything at all it is most likely to work." "Ok thanks Raven." "You ready Nikita?" "Yes brother." She said weakly. He did the same thing to her as he did with Raven. "I assume you already know how to combine the blood?" "Yes Raven." So I laid my head down and closed my eyes to rest. Zoro whispered. "You ok Raven?" "Yeah just a little tired. I should be fine." I whispered back. Then Nikita said the same thing. I told her the same thing.

Dimitri tested the blood together and a strange thing happened. The two bloods together light up. "Ah Raven? What does it mean if the blood lights up?" "What are you serious?! Let me see." I went over and He did it again. "Wow I had no idea." "Raven what does it mean?" "Uh it means. You are not going to believe it but, it means we are family by blood. Don't exactly know were in the family. You are Nikita's full brother right?" "Yeah I am." "Then you are family as well. The blood will for sure work then. Just give her a drop first just to see how well it works. Oh and don't tell her you and her are related yet." "Ok Raven." "Well will it work?" said Nikita. "Yes it will work. Raven told me to still give you a drop to see how far it will work." "Ok as for transferring my blood give it to her like a shot in the arm." I said. "Ok Ready Nikita?" I said. "Yeah I'm ready.' "Ok here we go." Said Dimitri. He injected a drop of Ravens blood into Nikita. They waited to see the result.

It had been a few minutes and Raven said, "Well it should have done something. How are you feeling Nikita?" "A little better." "Hang on I can tell how well it works." Said Dimitri. He touched Nikita's head and could see inside of her. "Wow it worked better than I thought. See for yourself Raven. You need to touch my shoulder." "Alright." "I see so it worked this far. So It should take two more drops and she should be cured go get it ready." I said. Dimitri went and got it ready.

"Your color is starting to come back Nikita." "Thanks to you." "Yeah well." "Ok its all ready." Said Dimitri. "Ok same way." He put it in the other arm and they waited again like last time.

"She should be healed. Go ahead Dimitri and look.' "Ok then." He touched her forehead and was shocked. "Well she looks healthy again. Thank you Raven." "May I see for myself?" Dimitri touched Nikita again I touched Dimitri's shoulder. I looked around and she was healthy. Then I saw something that would prove she is my blood family. "Yep she is healthy. Even though you just got cured you need to take it easy. You don't want to get sick again." I said. "Yes Raven and Dimtri." Said Nikita. "Can I go home now?" "Yes do you have a private phone?" "Yes I do Here I will give you the number." I texted and he got the number. "OK then Thanks. I will call you when we need something." Said Dimitri. "Actually you will be hearing from me shortly about the situation." "Thanks Raven." "Oh and no more kidnappings please. Leave my family out of it." "Yes Raven." "Ok I'm going to fly back to the camp." "Fly safe Raven." "Yeah."

I got back to the island with the two men. Then I turned human again. "Ah finally back. I can't wait to see my kids and husband again." I was heading to the elder when I saw my kids and Koa walking. "Koa! Kids!" Koa looked where the voice was coming from. "Kids its mommy. Mommy is back." Koa and the kids ran up to me. "Hey kids. I missed you too." I hugged my kids in a group hug. Then I stood up and hugged Koa. "Hey honey." "Hey Koa." "You feeling ok?" "Just A little tired. Lets sleep here for the night then head home the next. I have something important to tell father when we do." "OK lets do that." "I should tell the Elder I am home then take a nap." "Ok dear I will stay with the kids." "Ok."

"Hey elder I'm back." "Oh Raven good to see you home and alive. Zoro and Tony told me what happened." "Yeah its all true. I wanted to stop by and check in. I'm going to stay the night here then head home the next morning." "OK Raven you need to take a nap. Get some sleep." "Yeah thanks." I went to the safe room and laid down to sleep.

A couple of hours later, I woke up feeling refreshed. I yawned as I was waking up. "OK I should fix my hair and head out to meet Koa and the kids."

I found my husband and the kids and went over to them. "Hey guys sorry I was asleep long than I planned." "Oh Hello Raven." "Hi honey. Hi kids what are you doing?" "We are actually having lunch right now care to join us?" "Sure I don't mind." I said. "So kids. We are going to head back home tomorrow how does that sound?" "Yay home." Said Frost and Fox. "Hehe at least the little ones are happy. What about you two Keeva and Ciel?" "I like it here mom. I wish I could stay." "I know Ciel. I'll tell you what? I'll talk to the Elder and when you turn 14 you can come here ok? Of course since it will be your first time flying here you will have an escort flyer. You will have one until you are 17 years old." "That sucks I have to wait 4 more years. Hmmph" "it will go faster than you think Ciel. What about you Keeva?" "I agree with Ciel. Although I'm not a dragon yet. Its ok honey. There is no rush and you may not even been one. Just because one parent is and the other is not doesn't mean you will be a dragon. There are some cases where at least a kid or two do not turn." "I hope I'm the most beautiful dragon of them all if I turn." "Hehe I'm sure you will be Keeva." I said. 'My family is safe now we are safe I can relax until we get home. '

The next morning we were getting ready to leave. Al came over and finally we were all there. Al and I turned everyone helped each other on and we were off back home.

"Ah finally home. Thanks a lot for your help Al I owe you one." I said patting Al's shoulder. "No problem. If you need anything again give me a call." "Thanks again." So all of us went to the castle to greet my father.

"Hello your Majesties and highnesses." I said. "Arise Raven Koa and Al. Also my grandkids." We all rose as told. "Father we have returned safe and sound I apologize if it took longer than planned." "Its ok Raven. I got a call from the Elder saying that you have something to tell me." "Oh yeah that. I'd like to tell you in private if I may about that." "Oh Raven when you are finished with father, my kids have been missing you." Said Jason. "All of our kids have been missing you." Said Alora. "Yeah sorry guys I have been busy. I have an idea. Why don't we have a picnic. Make a date for a family picnic." "Hey that sounds like a plan." Said Ace. "Ok maybe I can talk to father about it while I'm there and have him get back to you." I said. They all agreed. "Ok father lets go."

We walked to my fathers office and I got right to the point. "Father. I found out the people who are after me since birth. It was an organization called Dagon. They said they figured out the situation already for those things. Its more of an important matter. Do you know anyone named Dimitri or Nikita? I found out Nikita is blood related to us. It was confirmed when our blood mixed and when I made sure she was healed I saw the same mark I have. I got it from moms side so she must be related to them." "I haven't heard of anything but your mother has I'm sure. Why don't you go talk to her about it." "All right. As for the picnic then. When should we have it??" "Well lets get you situated and rested I will talk to everyone here ok?" "Thanks dad. I'll go find mom." "Oh she and your dad are in the parlor." "Ok thanks dad."

I went to the parlor and found mom and dad. "Hey mom and dad. I'm back." "Hey Raven good to see you home." "You know mom. I actually thought it was a dream. That you were here." "Then I come back and you and father are back. Hey mom? I have something important to talk about. Its ok if dad here's too." "Ok honey what is it?" said mom. "(sigh) OK I found out someone I know is related to me. I helped out an old friend by using my blood. We combined it to see if it could help her then it lit up and you know what that means mom. I also looked inside her because her brother had that power and she has the same mark as I do to prove we are family." "I see and who might these people be?" "Nikita and Dimitri." "Are you sure Raven? Are you really sure?" "Yeah mom why?" "So they survived after all and are ok I'm so glad." "Who are they mom?" "They are your cousins. My niece and nephew." "Well they are alive and well. Now that I have helped. I told them I would call If Iknew more. Would it be ok if they came and saw you?" "Yes honey I would love them too." "That's great honey the kids made it out alive after all." "Yeah I know right." Mom hugged my dad. "Hey dad. I have something to say." "What is it Raven? Are you ok?" "Yes I'm fine." I smiled. "I want to thank you for raising me like you did even though I wasn't blood it takes a real man to do that. I also see how happy you and mom are. I love you both very much." I said. I saw my dad tearing up. "Oh dad no water works please. You know that makes me cry too." Then I started crying and we group hugged. Oh Jason should have heard too." "We will tell him. You go make that phone call." "Thanks mom and dad." "Sure."
