In New York City, Sergei Novikov was restless.

He issued orders back and forth to his men in the manager's office at the cafe. He emphasised the need to recover the stolen money in the shortest period.

A few of his men who showed lax attitudes were shown the error of their ways. Sergei beat a couple of his men half to death to 'motivate' the others. If they didn't grasp the magnitude of the situation before, the sound thrashing inflicted on the two men remedied any of that.

Truth be told, these fellows were quite lucky. Sergei would have sent them to their maker if not for the terrible losses already incurred by the organisation.
